I believe higher BB concentrations cause more pain. I'm not an expert at all and not going to waste any of my raws brewing higher BB concentrations to test the theory.

Usually high BA or the compound themselves are painful. 20% BB is the max I have used and never had an issue with it.

It's more often the raws themselves

I never had that problem. I never brewed anything that was painful to use. I don't get it. I feel that any kind of pip means your ugl doesn't have a clue as to what it is doing.

BB won't cause the pain, the BA in high amounts will for sure...

as for Primo Ace, absolutely because of the ester... no ester, Ace, Prop... will hurt due to crystallization. Best way to help it, mix with another compound then heat and massage the spot...

Last year, or maybe 2 years ago, there was some nasty raw test e. So many problems were reported that it was a good idea to avoid test e entirely. The raws at that time were so screwed up that it sank more than a few ugls.
