high cal meals

Like Karch said weight gainers( I like MyoPlex Sport 500 cals plus milk, or Nlarge2) then I eat lasagna, pastas, potatos(mashed, whole), thai food, chinese buffets, whole wheat breads, Country BUffet :D Pretty much whatever I see and want-- I try to avoid foods that have no "bodybuilding value" like french fries, ice creams, cookies-- I have them some but I am usually so full when I am bulking my body doesnt crave sweets--

Sorry bro, but why do french fries have no bodybuilding value?

In Australia (might be old in the states) but our Mcdonalds has just recently put nutritional values on all their packaging of products and a large serve of fries has 1600 kj (400 or so calories) 30g carbs - 5g protein.

I could be wrong ( I usually am) but to me, that's bodybuilding value..

Just my 0.2c

Which would leave 29g of fat, of which I'm sure a high percentage is saturated. That equates to 260 calories of fat. I guess if you're bulking it really doesn't matter (look at Lee Priest in the offseason). I would just prefer a food w/ somewhat better ratios. I know the goal is to gain as much as weight as poss, but I would still prefer it to be as much muscle as possible.

You are kidding me right?

A-- They are pure fat
B-- I would rather have complex carbs---ie. baked potatoes
C-- The protein in french fries is 5 grams of UNCOMPLETE PROTEIN

I am not saying I dont eat fries(rarely) but I cant see an arguement for them as a bodybuilding food-- unless you are in a "fat gaining" phase

I don't see how you guys take in so many calories without gaining fat...I can eat 1500-2500 and still grow while losing BF and I weigh 250lbs.I've tried the high calorie thing once I was ready to bulk and I put on an ass load of fat a few years ago...now I don't even bother counting anything other than the macronutrients such as protein, carbs and fat...as long as I get in 250gs of protein I'm fine.

If you dont count how do you know how many cals your are eating?? I dont see how you weigh 250 and eat only 1500-2000 cals? That seems to be impossible when you look at the numbers

BTW-- 1500 cals daily and I would have to run around in the shower to get wet

I counted cals for the first couple years of working out,got up to 4500,I did build muscle quickly, but also put on alot of fat...saying as how my goal was to get more muscular while getting leaner 2500 calories was ideal for me...now I just focus on getting 250-300 grams of protein with very moderate carbs...I've been growing better with this method than any other.

I may go back to the more traditional method of eat 5,000,000 ;)calories, etc. once I hit a plateu, but right now I don't seem to need it.

I only eat 3,000,000 cals daily thanks ;)

lol...I'll be the first to admit I have gotta get my diet straight, but my main focus is dropping this fat I've put on since being down, that is why I am also gaining muscle back so quickly, because I've been down for a year... :D

Plus I'm a broke ass right now and can basically only afford Tuna, eggs, and Chicken, and only enough for maybe 5 meals a day,I can't seem to eat many carbs without getting fat as hell either :( . lol

My metabolism is very slow,I was also obese as fuck as a child, lost over 100lbs the first year I began weight training.I ate no different as a child then my family and they all were pretty fuckin skinny...but they can't put on muscle as fast as I can either.I guess it all come together eventually. :)

try eating oats and brown rice for carbs. keep the fat low, only take in 1-2 tbsp flaxseed oil and some omega-3 caps, about 4-6g per day. your protein is lean so if you stick with those carbs, you can eat alot of them just cut them out in the evening and you should do fine. i will never do the "bulking" again.

I'll give that a try,my muscle rebound will soon fade obviously on this type of 'starvation even though I'm full' diet,I'm just afraid if I start eating 3000-3500 calories I may get fat again.I did a major bulk up a couple of years ago, arms went from 17.5 fat to a firm 20",and I was barely eating then either, maybe two - three chicken salads, but I had help with our friends Test & Dbol.

dont count calories. keep protein high. eat until you arent hungry 6-7 times a day. someone helped me with a diet plan that i can slowly add quality lean muscle mass over time while leaning out and not having to stuff/starve myself. i am very thankful for this plan as it helps you learn about your own body. i just started training again and started eating like this and i like not having to stuff/starve myself. soon my friends test and tren will help me greatly..

Bro! I just started back training again also, been back about 3 months, been down from a car accident for close to a year...put on alotta fat and lost a lotta muscle...the fat seems to be coming off,and the muscle has came back...but I'm ready to take this to a whole new level,I still have quite a bit of down time to go...so I am able to focus on eating, sleeping, and training.I currently am not able to walk, just hop around on a walker(you should see that calf,it's almost 23". lol)

Post some more tips if ya don''t mind, with me not able to do any cardio I have to try and find a good medium to grow and still lose BF.

Thanks bro. :)

hey bro im glad you are healing from the accident and back into training. i had to take care of other personal issues so i couldnt train for over a year. i am also ready to take this to a new level. your cycle is good. make sure you are on anti-e's. the diet is the hardest part of course. if you follow what i wrote, you'll get great results. a member helped me with the diet part and i thank him so much for it. i dont like the idea of stuffing myself when bulking and getting fat and i always thought it was the only way to put on mass but you can eat clean BODYBUILDER FOOD and build muscle and burn fat at the same time. oats, brown rice, potatoes, chicken breasts, lean steaks, whey protein isolate, eggs, fish, flaxseed oil, fish oil, maltodextrin post workout with whey isolate are mainly the foods i eat. i also eat organic spinach twice a day. i will cheat once a week.

test/dbol is a great stack but i am going to try test/tren next both enth esters.
