Some formulations of human menopausal gonadotropin come in 75iu vials as we all probably are aware, and some 150iu formulations are also available. If, for example, I reconstituted a 150iu vial, and only wanted to utilize half of said vial (75iu), What would the best course of action be to store the remainder for the next week’s administration?
This is but one of many recommendations that can be found on various pharma sites that produce hmg but they seem to vary quite a bit:
Lyophilized Menopausal Gonadotropin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored 4°C between 2-7 days when reconstituted.
