So when i choose the oil i want to use, should this oil be treated in any way prior, like be drawn through 0.22micron? Like be cooked to kill microbes in it?
Can i use oil from the supermarket or does it has to be bought from some special shop?

Thanks, after this im ready to cook my first stash

Stick to usp grade oils they are cleaner and approved for pharmaceutical preparations. Good choices are cotton, sesame, Arachis and castor. If you choose mct choose something that has pure c8 mct cause c12 tends to sting

Read the basics first before you start, seems like you have a lot to cover as seen by your question regarding drawing through .22um filter. You never draw through a filter, it only goes one way, out never in.

There's a sticky in the homebrew section, it's so simple you don't even need to use the search button and you can brew the common recipes.

I'm amazed that everyday I see this threads when all you have to do is read the stickies or old threads.

Thanks man yea you do not draw through guess i just wrote in hurry. Im making very small batch and found some good guides. the only thing i did not find was the description of the oil. So i need some usp grade oil. So supermarket oil is no go? Where do you get these oils? Amazon?

I've used regular oils before but you can also buy usp oils from where you obtained your solvents. They are much easier to work with.

If you want MCT, i use PVL brand, it's smooth. I got it from Amazon.

I use Medlab Supply USP MCT oil. Never had an issue with any sort of infection and I’ve brew up over 1000ml. I thought about using store bought oils but it’s worth it in the end to pony up a little more cash for USP grade oils

PVL is also what I use. Although it's made in Canada and sometimes hard to find domestically in the USA. Smooth, zero pip.

I'm not saying to do this AT ALL but personally I've been using MCT oil from COCONUT that I get from Costco for all my gear. You can make your own decision with that. My thought process is, I heat it up while I stir it which I feel pasteurizes it in a way. Also the BA and BB should help with any other living impurities. Then all the unfinished gear gets pushed through a .22 micron syringe filter into a pre sterilized vial at which point I'm comfortable using it. I've had no issues so far nearly a year in 2 shots a week. I do use USP grade BB and BA though. I just use cheap Costco MCT oil. About 100 injections so far on the Costco oil with no issues.
