Homebrew question

So I checked out that great tutorial on basic home brewing. However I didn't understand the first step saying to mix ba with powder, will it fully desolve when mixied in glass beeker and then just pull it out with syringe then inject into a sterile vial? Thanks guys

Steroids dissolve in oil, that's why you use oil to make injections. However, pure oil can only dissolve low amounts of steroid before it saturates. That is why you need some 'aid' solvent like Benzyl benzoate to make high concentration injections.
Also, you are going to make it a multi-dose vial, which means it will have a high chance of bacterial contamination each time you use it, so to prevent this you add Benzyl Alcohol.

Thus, If you already know what conc. BA/BB you are going to make put your powder + oil+BA+BB +heat a bit to fasten the melting >when it's PERFECTLY melted >filter it in the sterile vial.

(UGL are nasty as hell that's why they make 2% BA oils. Pharm grade only use 0.9%)
I don't understand why even homebrewing ppl use 2%BA...are you really making it nasty just like UGL? Then why are you homebrewing....just make it 1.2%...or 1.5% BA max.)

When you inject, BA goes off (absorbed faster) from the oil, so you are left with oil+steroid. Now, main purpose for BA is to inhibit bacterial contamination(YES, INHIBIT!!! I'll say even 5% will not kill a existing bacteria...maybe baby ones...) from user to the vial.
However, it also serve as a aiding solvent like BB. So, if you make a high concentration injection only with BA...this means when it goes into the muscle, it will crystallize and make some problems!

Now, BB doesn't goes off fast like BA. BB will stick with the oil for longer time, mostly until the steroid is been absorbed, and that is why BB is used as good solvent.

In conclusion, if you are making normal(?) concentration injections with long-ester ones, you don't have to use BB.(Concentration that really doesn't need any solvent BA or BB and can be dissolved in oil only will be ideal...)

If you are concerned about bad-sides by BB. I heard going with 50% or 60% EO(Ethyl Oleate) is also a good choice. (but ppl say there might be an unknown sides...)

Yeah...BB is a poison to kill bugs! If you can make it without it, then it would be the best.

Hah well im too worried I'd fuck it up to try a homebrew. But it's basically just adding the ba to the Raws and then the oil?

Steralize all of it and then run it through Whatman filter

BA, BB, carrier oil, and raws. Keep it sterile and filter. Its much easier than it might seem at first. Check out all the bass killer tutorials.

Better to control your own destiny and do it right than rely on some single man operation rushing just to keep up.

I thought hydroxymethyl group, like benzyl alcohol inhibits the germination of spores at near 0.05M (which is about 0.5%),and that means it inhibits and not kills...but I am not that familiar with these chemicals. Sorry If my information was misleading for you about the BA shreddn1.

Didn't knew it acts as bactericidal at low conc.~Thanks, learned something today.
