How do you get over the mental part of a cut

I started a cut 3 days ago and the food doesn’t actually taste that bad but my body is pretty much telling me to reject it, I have to choke it down. And today I have zero appetite and just feel like shit. My meals pretty much consist of 4 oz chicken with a tablespoon of olive oil/beef and 1 cup rice 6x a day

You simply have to put it as a target in your mind... Once you'll really want it the rest would be invisible.. Think about it.

How do you know you are eating enough? you count macros? have a plan?

Accept that you were always a pussy. You will always be a pussy. Being a bloated fat pussy is no better than being a ripped pussy. You're a pussy no matter what you look like. Always works for me.

I get hyper critical of the areas that I deem to be holding too much fat and it gets to the point it makes me super resentful to myself when i see it in the mirror for letting it get there. It's all part of the mind game I play with myself. I'll get lean and start a bulk and I always hold fat on my lower back it drives fuckin crazy cuz to me it looks like massive disgusting love handles. I can only take it for so long before I start the process over again to see what I've built beneath the layer of fluff. It's usually about the time my abs are only visible when I flex them.

You just have to make your end target a goal, and a mindset that you WILL achieve it.
I look at meals as nothing more than something I have to do. Not really a meal unless it’s a cheat meal/day. Treat it like a job that you don’t like to do but have to.

I think I figured out my problem, I dissected my food. the issue was the chicken, I used that mrs dash bullshit seasoning with no sodium and And the chicken tasted like dry dog shit. So I went to the store and got some fish and cooked that shit up and it tasted like pure gold. Any tips on cooking chicken? I tried putting Hot-sauce in it but it was still awful...

Lemon pepper, different hot sauce, very light spicy bbq sauce, mustard (I like mustard), soy sauce, garlic and onions

Make foods that you actually enjoy... What you're describing isn't sounding real sustainable. If you're going to compete, there's probably going to be some tough times leading up to a competition but if not.. You have some more flexibility.

Bland chicken and rice for three days and you're already miserable, I think you should reevaluate or you're probably not going to stick with it...

Don't and cook another meat instead. I have better luck with fish, too. When it takes an hour to choke down one meal it's just not meant to be. I like chicken occasionally, but I just can't do it every day for some reason.

I tried hitting the like button twice on this post but it didn't take.

Because even expertly cooked chicken breast is barely tolerable more than once every few days...

Yeah, I like chicken and rice from a Mexican restaurant every now and then. Tilapia or salmon I can do every day for weeks and months on end. Any kind of beef too. Not chicken though. Not ground turkey either.
