How to save on drug costs?

Does anyone out there have a good reliable med order program or drug plan for prescription meds? I've been doing some research on ways to save on my healthcare costs (my premiums and spend-down have gone up again for 2019). I'm currently on the usual $4/month and $10 for 3 month supply from by local walgreens, but this is also for generics only and the formulary is very short.

I'm a little tenuous on online pharmacies but have found so far that for things like test strips and blood glucose machines (not that I'm needing a new machine, but at least test strips and lancets) are like 70% cheaper from Canada - there's also a reputable service called GoodRX, I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with this or has done similar research?

Just as a follow up, in-case anyone was also looking, I finished my research and went with a service called SecureTabs (https://securetabs.biz/ (here)), great prices on generics and good patient information too. Just got done ordering a one month supply of my usual meds and should get them in the mail soon. Comparing, Secure Tabs to a similar service, it's much better than GoodRX both pricing wise and convenience wise. Cheers

Something tells me these type of sites are scams sites either stealing credit card information or something of that nature. The reason I say that is there are many European pharmacists selling Viagra on this site for magnitude higher price per pill then that website. How is that even possible
