How to you guys do melting point test

I got some raw powder from a Chinese supplier a few days ago, it's tren a and mast prop. This is the first time ordering from them, I plan to do a melting point test. How do you guys do this test?

i used this for the temperature

a spoon with just a little powder in it and the stovel to heat it up.
idk if there is a better method but for my prop it worked.

We have a Fisher Melting Point machines, but they can get pricey. So if you can't find one cheap and used or you don't brew regularly it may not be worth it. But my husband has two. I

I brew twice a year, not much every time. A melting point machine is truly luxurious for me. I may find a used one if I had chance.
