Here is the deal guys. I did my injection on Sat. afternoon in my left quad. Everything went smoothe. No pain as usual. no blood during injecting. I went and worked out after I injected and things were fine. Got home from the gym and did some christmas shopping so i was still on my legs for another 6 hours. I woke up sunday and it was a bit sore. So i though no bigge. Its been sore before. Sunday night rolls around and pain gets a bit worse and i see that my leg just above my knee is swollen. Like there is fluid in there?!@ I wake up today to go to work and OMFG. Pain is increddible. Can barely walk. gotta limp. By noon pain is much less severe as I work in a Machine shop so i'm on my feet all day. But i sit down for lunch and by the time i get done with lunch it hurts just as bad as this AM. I get home from work and pain is even worse so i look at my leg. It is swollen still just above the knee cap. The injection site which is a good deal up my leg is fine. No marks or anything. My leg is fucking killing me bros! Did I hit a nerve during my injection or is it something worse. This is the first time I have had this problem. I think that was my 4th injection..maybe 6th. Kinda loose track. I put heat on my leg tonight. Gonna keep doing that 20 on 20 off for the rest of the night. Anybody got any suggestions as to what it may be or any advice on how to treat it? Thanks bros! I FEEL LIKE A FUCKING GIMP!!

I doubt you hit a nerve. If you had, you would have known it the second you hit it. From what I have read on abceses, they usually form around the injection site-yours has not. However, it still could be one.
Good luck bro. If it gets real bad (appearance/pain) go see a doctor. After all, you just injected some B-12, right?

It doesn't sound like you hit a nerve or an abcess,,,(abcess is red, hot, swollen and has bright red streaks) It sounds just like it's really sore, keep putting heat on it and you should be fine in a day or so

lol yea pure B12 LOL

Bump for more info

Ice is a better option than heat at this point.. instead of heat tonight ice it. take some aleve or other anti inflamitory. If it's sensitive to the touch you might have an infection.. so if it's still swollen or gets worse over the next 2 days, go see your doc.. you ahve a patient confidentiality agreement, so if you want you can tell him you're on roids. It's probably better if you do. Since you're doing it on your own, it won't be charted for the insurance companies to find out.

Hey bro I had the same problem with a tricep injection.I got fluid on my elbow about a day after. My doc told me to keep it wrapped with a wrap, use cold packs and try to keep it elevated as much as possible.Hope this helps.
swoool

i have heard of some people experiencing the gear flowing down to the knee after shooting, personally ive never felt taht before.

how fast are you injecting? and how deep?

Ouch

This happens to me when I shoot my calves. Everything below the inj site is swollen and painful for days. I don't exactly know why though. Because you're on your feet most of the day, the fluid has a hard time getting out of your leg secondary to gravity. Elevate your leg while you sleep. This should pull some of the fluid out of there. Also, I don't agree with hammering a swollen limb with heat. At most, you should rotate ice with heat. Antiinflamitories would be useful if not already taking oral AAS.

He can take anti inflamitories, just not tylenol. Aleve is the best to take while on cycle.

hey man i feel ya my last cycle i was injecting 3cc of qv enanthate at a time . i had baseball size lumps that were about 150 degrees . that shit sucks. i did that for like 6 months but i grew like a weed and it was worth it .

Why not just tell the DOC that you shot some B12 to increase your appetite? No need to get into the "I am taking steroids" ordeal.
It wouldnt be the steroids that caused the problem, rather the bacteria in the solution the steroids are in. Therefor, telling the DOC that you just shot B12 would be just as effective since the B12 could have been unsterile and you wouldnt have to admit to AAS use.
Just a thought!
Good luck bro! Let us know how it turns out.

I don't agree. We're talking about hepata and nephrotoxicity here. Any analgesic or antiinflamatory could be harmful to the kidneys or liver while on AAS. Especially oral AAS. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Aleve contain aspirin? Aspirin is contraindicated while on Test. While he may not have problems while taking meds for the pain and swelling, it's not correct to state that Aleve is best and Tylenol is worse while on cycle. No flame bro.

Ii seriously doubt that he got an abscess or infection to the degree that he describes in one day. Sometimes that swelling thing happens, I get it in calfs also.

I dont know about all the contraindicate stuff but I do know that Ibuprofin does work to ease the pain..

I know bro, I was just stating that IN CASE it were in infection and he had to go to the DOC. I didnt mean to imply that he actually had one.
Just stating a scenario. Sorry for the miscommunication.
Peace good bros

Bro, if it is really that bad...bite the bullet and go to the doctor! I had a similar experience with a quad shot. It hurt like hell, but I pushed on for another day or two before I just had to get some help.. Turned out something went wrong with the injection and it was killing my quad muscles.. Went to the doctor and he asked me what I was taking, I told him, the nurse came in and gave me a shot of something, I really didnt care what, and the next day the pain was gone..

I have taken a ton of shots to know that is something hurts and you cant walk, some shit you dont want to happen is happening. Dont wait it out or hope it goes away...go to the doctor.

rest, ice, compression, and elevation for the next couple of days. should be much better. Ice 20 minutes at a time with an hour or so off b/n sessions. If not remarkably better in a couple of days get it checked out. Don't tell him it was AAS though. It can fall into the wrong hands regardless of what the above poster says

bump for an update.. remember..
RICE

rest, ice, compression(ace bandage), elevation.

Well its now tuesday night, 3 days after the injection. After I posted the last thread I went and did heat on it 20 on 30 off 20 till bed time at 10:00. Woke up today and i could walk a bit better. Popped 800mg Ibuprofen at work today, popped another 800 this afternoon about 2:30. Leg feels much better. Stile sore, not as swollen. I can actually walk on it very slowly. It is definitly getteing better what ever the fuck happened. It is still very tender to the touch but I can deal with that as long as I can walk with out looking like Corky! Thanks for all the replies bros! I'm sure by Sat. It should be fine. Well its time to go do another shot...I think i'm gonna jab it right where it hurts!! LMAO....
Again Thanks bros! Meso still ROCKS!

You'll be fine bro... Same happened to me a couple times actually. Give it about a week. Mine took a little over a week of hobbling around, I even had to use a cane for a while, no joke. As long as the pain and swelling subside over time it will eventually go away. This is just from personal experience, I have no clinical background. Have fun with your cycle bro...
