It should be the best years of your life.I am in better shape at 43 than I ever have been before.I can play football,volleyball etc with any 20 year old anytime anywhere..and I am one strong old man in the gym..there is only 1 youngster in this town stronger than I am ! I also believe in long term goals..my goal is to look better at 50 then I did at 40..very obtainable goal..I think.

I turned 40 in feb, and I have a theory about this...the first 10 years of your life just don't count, I can't remember anything from this period except maybe 20-30 minutes, so it doesn't count. the next 10 years I was completely bugshit crazy for most of, and was in the process of starting to become the person I am...so technically I was a different person, so that decade doesn't count. sooooo, in terms of the person I am, I just turned 20!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I feel younger already after all the positive posts. This is really the best time of my life and I know it. it just kind of hit all at once when I wrote the original post that I was actually turning 40. I am truly blessed and like I said before, I look and feel great next to most 40 years olds
