important hcg mixing question

i always used a regular 3cc syringe to draw out the water and inject 3cc of water into the powder;i would do it 3 times and then 1 more time for the 10th cc. then i refrigerate it. is this correct,i just read how you guys draw air out of the bottle with the powder first?i am a bit confused. why draw the air from the powder vial and inject the air into the water bottle?

Basically they are just keeping the pressure equal in both bottles. You draw air from the powder vial so that when you add the water it's filling the space the air used to occupy. When you add that air to the water vial you are making it easier to draw the water because you are adding pressure to the bottle...the water is almost forced out.

Also, by using the air from the powder vial you are ensuring that you are not contaminating the hcg with something from the air around you....the vials are sterile. But, I don't lend much to this idea because you always add air to the hcg vial before you draw. Where does the air come from? Yep....from around you. So, it's not sterile either but we don't worry about it do we?

HOW TO MIX HCG

Use a larger bore (like the ones you use to do your test cyp with) needle, and transfer the bacteriostatic water to the vial with the powder in it, 3ccs at a time. Keep the powder vial upright, because you will blow HCG out of it when you pull the needle out otherwise (be sure to draw air out after you push water in to release pressure each time). Gently swirl to mix. Keep in the refrigerator. Simple as that.

You will then have 10,000IU of HCG in 10ccs. Therefore, each 1cc contains 1,000IU of HCG. When using an insulin syringe, each unit on the scale of the insulin syringe equals 10IU of HCG. 250IU of HCG is then 25units on the side of the insulin syringe.

There is no reason to use a larger bore needle than 30 or 31ga, at 5/8.

My HCG protocol is to use 250IU of HCG two days before, and one day before, their testosterone cypionate IM injection. Androgel users take it every three days. The HCG is injected with an insulin needle, subQ within 6 inches of the navel.

Thanks it is hard for me to find the conversions. Like my needles for my Hcg are one ml. My Dr.'s aid said that .5 mL = 500 IU's is this right.

Typically that is correct. For example, my HCG is 10,000 iu of powder. If I add 10cc (10ml) of water then each ml is 1000iu. So, .5ml if 500 iu.

However, if you put any other amount into the vial then the ratio will be off and you will have to calulate to find out what the new amount is.
