I'm going to be a little harsh here, so stop reading now if you want. This is in regards to the website www.TuneUpYourT.com.
What a waste of time this was! First, the "Doctor" that was listed wasn't a Doctor; she was the Health centers business manager, even though she was listed as Dr. Jane Doe (not using her real name). After filling out all the forms that go with being a new patient, I get to see the real Doctor. I tell him that I have had several total testosterone tests done 400/1000 being the best (which is the very low end of normal) and 49/1000 being the worst. Ive already seen an Endo Dr. who had pituitary tests done, all of which came back normal. In case you are wondering, the reason I didnt want to use my first Endo Dr. anymore is because when I asked him about testicular atrophy, he said, they are just cosmetic, you can get implants. Anyway, the Doctor I got from the tuneupyourt website says, Ill do whatever an Endo Doctor tells me too, Ive never used HCG (I asked him about that to combat atrophy). They bill me $15, I shutter to think what they billed my insurance company for the 2 minute conversation and he sends me a referral to his good buddy the Endo doctor. More tests from another Doctor, thats what this got me. Instead of just treating the fact that I HAVE low-test levels, they want to keep trying to find out WHY I have low-test levels.
In conclusion,
I wouldnt recommend this program to raise my dogs test levels. To talk about the Doctors on this list is inaccurate at best, more likely that they are just office managers. And when you do go to all the trouble of making an appointment, filling out the paperwork and maybe taking time off work; you find out that they dont necessarily specialize in HRT anyway! IMHO, this whole tuneupyourt.com is just a bunch of Healthcare centers looking to over bill you and your insurance company. This, for the most part is a scam. Dont waste your time or money.
