In another thread I asked what are the active ingredients in labmax. I got no responses other than smartass answers.

So I decided to do the research myself.

You can spot test all of them on your own hundreds of times for like $30 bucks..

I would like to see more positive information on this forum shared.. We are a community and need to help each other out. Figure out more efficient ways of doing things together. I think everybody should be testing everything, posting the results of those tests online, and all of us doing these tests super cheaply, this will help the members of this community.

This only confirms those colorimetric tests are reliable method of testing. Colorimetric tests are used for many things including drugs.

I have seen a lot of steroid dealers selling bunk gear trying to discredit labmax; this only proved that it works.

look further down the chart. test cyp/prop/e work with this method.

Among the spot tests performed, only Mandelin's was found to react with all the steroids tested.

I did some backresearch, labmax is a total scam. you can do testing yourself hundreds of times, for like $30 bucks.

I disagree with this completely. Scam in a harsh word. For around $6-$7 dollars its well worth it for the ease and simplicity IMO. The images on their website have been a great benefit and their support has helped me several times.

Also the main ingredient in these spot tests seems to be sulfuric acid and I definitely don't care to handle that too much.

you don't have to handle sulfuric acid at all if you don't want too.. read the whole thing first. you'll see there are other tests than sulfuric acid that you can use that are still 100x cheaper than labmax.


labmax is a scam. and by scam, I don't mean it doesn't work, I mean your Paying WAYYY more than you should be.

I agree that labmax is probably a more user friendly method of doing these tests, so I'm sure the additional cost of a kit over buying the individual ingredients will be worth it for some folk.

However its still good information for the community to know how these tests work and I'm sure there are a good number of people out there who would like to save $ on this...

dude ur missing the point im making completely. your paying $200 dollars for a full labmax kit. pay $12 for the sulfuric acid, or pay $10 for the mandelin's...

I am interested in this as well. Em93, do you know which of these is closest to what the labmax kits use? Mandelins appears to be the most accurate, which do you recommend?

Well if you want to go the most accurate route, you have 4 different spot tests you can do. and each one will give you a different color for each compound..

that seems 10x more reliable than doing just one labmax test on your compound..

because now you have 4 different ways of testing the same thing all with different definitive results..

but personally I think 4 is overkill so I would just use the mandolin and sulfuric acid. 2 tests would give you pretty definitive results.
