So I recently added Humalog into my pre workout to add mass this off season. Im up to 5iu. No special protocol, no crazy shakes, just added it onto my diet as it stood.
My pre workout meal 60-90 min pre is 80g carbs, and my humalong shot is 10min pre. I also sip a 25g dextrose drink intra.
At tge end of my workout my glucose has been right around 100 no matter the insulin dose. Is this normal for it to not be effected or is my pre meal carbs covering my pre insulin? Is thus why people often implement a post workout slin as well?
