Insulin without High worth it or not?

So done loads of research on this topic and found good and bad reviews.
Idea was to use insulin post workout everyday fast acting at about 4units with atleast 20g carbs per unit just so I get full benefits from my postworkout nutrition plus next meal as this particular insulin normally active for 3-5 hours.
What I want to ask is what's your experience on this if you've personally used insulin or are using insulin without high.
There may be posts on this before but if I didn't post how would I get my score up .
