Just wanted to introduce myself and share my experiences over the last year. I'm an "endurance" athlete, basically running and triathlons.
I'm injured and would like to speed up recovery / healing, or take my training to the next level when I am able to come back.
My current protocol is as follows:
TRT
HCG
BPC
TB
IPA (restarted this week)
I have in the past included CJC, IPA, and Tesa.
I started with BPC and TB500 in an attempt to speed recovery from an ankle injury from a run. This was my first experience and I believe it went well. I used both daily, twice a day injections along with heat and compression boots. I did both sub injections in the belly as well as near the injury site as possible. I believe I healed quickly, three weeks, but I had no scan or diagnosis.
I have continued on BPC, adding TB as needed, during my season with the goal of improving recovery. It isn't the easiest to determine if these make a major difference, which I guess almost answers the question.
I also use a functional health service that does a thorough blood test, in an attempt to improve whatever I can or seems to be out of the "norm". During that test my test was 320 and they recommended TRT. I have since started and include HCG. My numbers have improved, and I'm testing again next week. I pin test every other day, and the days between test, I pin HCG. I wasn't sure what to expect, I was not looking for any major muscle or "bulk" gains, just hoping for improved energy. I found that the biggest change came in my overall mood. I've tweaked my dosage and feel pretty good at my current dose although I could likely reduce it since my current training load is much lower.
My training focuses on light full body lifting sessions (lighter weights, higher reps) twice a week, with biking, swimming, and running filling the other times. During the seasons I train about 15-20 hrs a week.
I am currently injured, sports hernia (torn ligament in lower abdomen), and tears in my SI joint. I had stem cell injections (both areas) in Dec and have had to stop training. I have returned to the pool (using a pull buoy) and that is about it.
I am hoping to improve my recovery and have been researching, even before the injury, adding HGH. I have tried Tesa, IPA, and CJC. I had a reaction to CJC, and have stopped. Just recently I resumed small amount of IPA.
If I cannot improve the recovery / healing time, I would like to expedite my training efficiency when I can return to full training.
If I can be of any help for anyone starting or considering any of the above please drop me a note. If anyone has any input or recommendations I am completely open. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to post and share knowledge, it has been really helpful.
