Happy Friday everybody I just joined this group earlier today and this is my first post ! I am a 44 year old male and I have been weight training for over 20 years. I am 6'0" and presently weigh 207 lbs at 16% BF. I train 4 days a week, day one is all pulling (back, biceps), day two is all pushing (chest/delts/tris), and the third day is legs. I have had some surgeries over the past two years (total knee and total hip replacement) and I am just now feeling good again and I can "trust" my new bodyparts in the gym. Seven months ago I made the decision to completely eliminate alcohol from my life and I have to say that has helped me not only in the gym but on so many other levels. My goal is to add more quality size to my frame. I am currently on TRT with testosterone injections every week, which I have been doing for the last five years. This has helped a great deal in the gym and has eased the pain in my achy shoulders, hips, and knees. Before TRT therapy my joint pain was quite significant and I was not able to train the way I wanted to. I recently decided to go on a 5 week Anadrol cycle for some added size. I am on day number eight of the cycle (50mg per day) and I have yet to see the scale move upwards at all and I have not felt any strength gains. I assumed that by the end of the first week I would be making gains and feeling stronger but unfortunately that is not the case. I bought the Anadrol (and some dbol which I have not used yet) from Dragon Pharma. Those guys were great to work with but am I wrong to assume I should be seeing gains after eight days in the cycle? I am going to give it another week and if I do not see any changes I am going to try the dbol. What do you guys/girls think? Thanks for reading my first post

Alcohol is a terrible recreational drug. Empty calories, terrible come down, horrible for your liver at any appreciable levels of consumption, etc. Way to cut that out. I don’t miss it either.

Welcome!

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe try some glucosamine for the joint pain. It's an OTC product that I found especially helpful for my knees and running. TB500 is a peptide that also comes highly reccomended for repairing/recovering from injuries.

Have you fully recovered from the surgeries? any lingering pain from the procedures?

Not going to comment on the source, but I would imagine with Adrol that you'd atleast have some bloat/water retention. If your diet is not on point and/or you're eating at a calorie deficit then its very possible you won't be seeing much in terms of weight gain/strength.

Thanks for the reply. Joint pain is no longer an issue since I have been on TRT but before that I was using glucosamine chondroitin and it helped. I am now fully recovered from the surgeries and the repaired joints actually feel better than the non-repaired ones. My training and diet are on point, in the past I was a certified personal trainer. I am just a bit disappointed in not seeing any results from the Anadrol. Like I said I will give it another week and if I still don't see anything I will give the dbol a try.
