Is temperature rise with DNP linear?

I’ve read somewhere that 100 mg of DNP rises the body temperature by 1 degree Fahrenheit. Let’s say I take 100 mg ED so would my body temp stay at 1 degree Fahrenheit above the normal or would it go beyond that?

There is a relationship between dose & temperature that does scale linearly, but an increase of 1° F/100 mg/d is not safe and actually indicative of acute toxicity such that DNP should be discontinued.

In the Simkins trials of the 1930s, with the controlled administration of DNP, when the temperature rose as high as 99.2° F (37.33° C) [indicative of acute toxicity], the drug was either discontinued or the dosage sharply reduced.

Its mechanism of action is to sabotage the proton pump during oxidative phosphorylation (mitochondrial uncoupling), thereby increasing RMR and the resultant decreased efficiency of metabolism causes the body to have to vent off heat energy. So, while the effectiveness of DNP is proportional to temperature, you do not want to reach toxic levels, or a temperature of 99.2° F (37.33° C).

Instead of thinking about DNP dose/response with respect to Δtemp., instead think the average (mean) dose/response with respect to ΔRMR (resting metabolic rate):

RMR ↑ 11% * 100mg⁻¹ (mean)... but varies widely between individuals (in some cases, DNP alone, without dietary modifications, results in no significant weight loss).

4 mg/kg results in ~40% increase to RMR (mean).

Don't eat carbs or not a lot of it. That helps to not get overheated.
200 mg will make you warmer than 100 mg.
Don't pass 400 mg because after that dose you will feel like in you are in hell.

Even when you do shit like DNP, you need to drink a lot of water(not cold)
You can cut in fat by good training and diet, DNP is not needed.

My fave effect od DNP is not the hot, but the permanent blinding of the eye by cataracts. Lovely stuff. I guess the higher the dose, the faster you lost vision.

GLP-1´s work way better and faster than DNP and specially, safer

Hmmmn, I haven't heard anyone from the forums getting one since the Dnitro days. I wonder if it's predisposition or abuse is factored in again.

Do they have any study regarding the threshold where the possibility of it happening starts?
There is guy(I believe on this forum) that got cataracts from dnp. I will search later on when I have more time on hands.
I read something, somewhere about dnp and cataracts but can't remember where. Was years ago...

I'm planning to do a small 2 week low dose run at the end of my cut since I can't do clen or stims. I've used it years ago but I have one grandma who got cataracts and don't want to gamble it if genetics might play a big factor to the risks.

Damn, going up to 1g though is just asking for trouble.

And clen isn't viable to some people who are really sensitive to palpitations so that's not safer either lol.

I guess it's time to weigh the benefits to risk ratio and titrate from the lowest dose. I did 250mg before for 3 weeks.

Would it be weird to mention how effective micro-dosing was for me?
Microdosing is a great way to boost metabolic rate, while minimizing sides. For someone in no rush, its the best route to go with DNP. Obviously you burn less than someone at a higher dose, but you can run that longer.

As far as people mentioning cataracts, i do only remember one or two ever posting they got it after using DNP. So while its possible to get, I'd say it's not common.

Also, I've run some crazy high doses in the past along with a lot of total DNP over the last 3 years. No cataracts...yet. Not trying to justify its use, just my personal experience. I don't think its figured out why some get cataracts, and most don't.

Thank you for your reply. So, is starting and experimenting what temp I reach with a dose of 200 mg ED the best thing to do? If I reach 37 degrees C, I’d stop taking it.

How much is micro? Around 200 is a great dose for me because I can still function normally
Bruh, I dropped from 220 to 187 just taking 50mg daily for 4 weeks.

I did cardio twice a week for 30 minutes and ate in a 300kcal deficit. Ran my 120mg trt with 150mg primo and 40mg anavar. I stopped the DNP and got really peeled and bulked back up from 175. Wish I took pics, totally show-ready diced and I recall how I did it if I want to do a show later.

Lucky me it never affected my eyes in that way.

Dosing 50mg daily for almost 3 months, I was losing a steady 2lbs weekly and no bloat. Sweating in my sleep wasn't too bad, much worse on 200mg. At that dose I took it during winter, randomly having "hot flashes" helped with dealing with snow days as I felt no cold. No flattening of muscle thanks to the androgens.

Not at all. DNP is effective in doses as low as 50mg/day and to be honest, there is no reason to exceed 2mg/kg bodyweight.*

Anything more then that and your training and quality of life gets tossed. (yes, I know, most people state 4mg/kg bodyweight)

*from my personal experience at least...

**edit to add the a low dose of DNP for a month or so did some very nice things to my insulin sensitivity as well.

So you're saying that a total of 8400 kcal calorie deficit with just 50mg of dnp daily resulted in a total of 115,500 calorie loss in 4 weeks?

You Sir, sure are the best responder to DNP I have seen in the forums better than the logs I've seen so far in Pro muscle done by vets. Either that or your spewing shit out of your mouth.
