is there a substitute for Ibuprofen, taking over 1000mg per day for pain

Pain!!!!

Look bro...I would never push an addictive analgesic narcotic on someone but what I do is keep a couple of Loritabs on hand when I get those unmanagable pains but DO NOT take those if you have prior drug abuse problems or an addictive personality. I have many aquaitances from different gyms that are strung out on narcotic injectibles (Nubain) and hydrocodone i.e. Loritab and trust me you will end up in a detox center saying what the fuck happened to me? Ive seen it with very close friends and its almost unbearable to see someone so miserable and uncomfortable. If you do take something like that have your doc monitor you and if just a "pain in your as from an oil based injection site try the tylenol 8 hour and make sure to take milk thistle and it should keep the pain manageble. Good luck bro and hope this helps.

Ibuprofen is really bad for you're liver you'd be better off w/a narcotic. Some say they even have anticatabolic properties.

If the pain is that bad, then go to a doctor. He will provide you with an accurate diagnosis (it could be symptoms of a greater injury) and more powerful analgesics. Its a pretty easy answer my friend.

its been an on-going problem for 6 months now. docs couldn't figure it out so i had an mri done to see if i had an pinched nerve. the mri showed neg. so now they think i just tore a muscle in my ass deadlifting?? gotta get off the ibu. been on them for 6 months now..

ibuprofen has also been shown to decrease endogenous test production. i know this is a moot point when on-cycle but when off-cycle, this could be real problematic.

ibuprofen will eventually cause intestinal and rectal bleeding and painful hemorrhoids. Ask any arthritic patient who has relied on them for years for pain management.

chip not sure of the reason for the smart ass comment but oh well maybe you were joking....i did quit the stuff that aggravates it. (deadlifts, bent rows ect..) but this isn't just a problem when i lift, i have a hard time sleeping, and just doing every day stuff like driving a car..it's constant.i am gonna quit the ibu and just deal with the pain for a while to take a break from the ibu..

'cause i'm a smart-ass bro... ;) sorry, i should've included the ' :D ' emoticon, i usually do, in my previous post so you would've understood i was fucking witcha. i think you ought to try some natural painkiller like dl-phenylalanine, if you don't have high blood pressure. and you should definitely stop lifting altogether for a few weeks. probably not what you want to hear, but probably what you should do anyway. think about it.

yah your right, it's just hard to take time off..i went without ibu today and my god i thought i was gonna die!ha anyway thanks for the comments guys..sorry to snap chip, pain does that to me..ha

I've heard otherwise bro. As well as ibuprofen and tylenol reducing protein synthesis being true. Its garbage, get some norco or dilatin. That'll cure what ails ya. Are they addictive and run the risk of fucking up your life...yes if you're an idiot.
