Is this weird?

When I train I may not be the biggest,strongest,best technique, most cut etc.

but I have to be the most intense....after about 5 yrs now

I work myself with the use of music and meditation into a beast, dripping sweat looking through people.
And putting up "decent numbers" i.e. 100 lb dumbbells x 6 on the shoulder press

I've been told I'm scary when I get into my zone.

dammit I get....emotional.


is that normal?
 
Oh man, I'm right along there with you! We are few, but that's what truly brings about results. You only get out of this what you put into it, so no sense in half-assing it! Training allows me to reach down and find things w/in myself I thought I never had. The "others" will never understand, and that's why they look the way they do. I thrive off of having that intense emotional experience in the gym. It's such a release being in your own world....you against yourself. Maybe this is why I'm single?! Fuck it, it's more than worth it!

I have, for a leg day.

It's not like I'm some super impressive lifter...but damn it's a sweet feeling when I can up the squat or dead lift by 45 on each side and still feel good.


It feels like lightning from out the cosmos streaming down on my head filling my body up with power.....

You sound scary, you actually pic up those 100lb db's? And that looking right through people thing, how do you prepare your mind for something like that?

I just go through a a few diffrent levels
like slowly going to sleep but in reverse
becoming more and more awake


I like thinking of colors, like a pinpoint of red becoming bigger and bigger unitll it fills up everything.....I've been doing it so long it just comes...

Do you close your eyes when you do this? So everything is red? Studies have shown that those who have a fixation with the color red have suffered some sort of child molestation in their lives. Have you told anyone else about this?

no, nobody every touched my peepee untill I was 16 and not regularly unitll I was in my 20's

That's good. So how long do you sit there with your eyes open but not seeing anything in front of you? Don't you ever bump into stuff? Do you have to feel around for the weights sometimes? Or do you only see the weights and nothing else. Who taught you this technique? If you can pic up the 100 db's it must really work. :eek:
