isn't this game old??? should we start the next game???

probably nobody know something about this stuff

What do you want to know? It's not very difficult to do, and it's pretty effective. If you have a specific question, fire away.

What I want to know?? everything, :):):) side efects, how they make this virus?? from where you can get it if it is posible at all. And don't tell me is not dificult, Give me one person from this site who does not want to be 30% more stronger, resistent, etc.

how many years will take to have this available like AS?? just a guess.

It's an adeno-associated virus. it really is very simple. The only problem is we have no idea how long term overexpression of IGF-1 in muscle will affect someone. I am going to try something similar soon, but with just plasmid DNA, which encodes IGF-1. I'll inject it into just one muscle group (probably calves) followed by ultrasound to disrupt muscle membranes to allow for better uptake of the DNA. The expression of IGF-1 won't be nearly as high as with the virus-mediated delivery, but it will be high. It also won't be permanent. To grow up AAV to deliver the plasmid DNA is really very simple. I want to see the effects of shorter term, lower expression first.

I read your posts, looks that mostly you answer to the recovery questions and I understand your answers there. But I don't know how it can be simple. What is your profession?? From where do you get this virus?? Are you going to try on a human?? Or are you just joking??

I'm an MD/PhD student. I've worked in the lab for many years. Growing up AAV is simple. You just have a plasmid (DNA) that encodes the whole AAV genome (slightly modified) + the gene you want it to express (e.g. IGF-1). You stick the plasmid into a cell line (transfect cells optimal for viral production), and a few days later , you collect the supernatant, which contains your virus in very high number. Then you simply purify/concentrate the virus, and you're ready to go. It really is just a 2 week deal at most....most of the time is just waiting for cells to grow and virus to be made by the cells.

I am going to try it on myself with just DNA encoding IGF-1. I've done research in the area in the past and have done similar things in animal expts many times (mice, rats, rabbits, and horses). it works pretty well, and it's not permanent. I'm in no big hurry to do it, but I am in the process of getting things I need to do it. I have cDNA for IGF-1 and IL-15 already....the rest is easy.
