Hello everyone,
I am posting a thread here just to let everyone know what is going on with my order, and we will see how basicstero handles this. I placed an order on the international worldwide section of the website, spent my 300 USD and got the additional 200 free. The order was to be shipped to Norway. I placed the order on June 30, and paid on July 3. This morning (July 6), I get an email from basicstero saying that they are uncomfortable shipping to Norway, and suggest that I place an EU order instead. Of course, nobody thought to send me an email with this until they had my money. If they are going to refuse shipping to certain nations, then they really should not advertise their international worldwide section as delivering "anywhere in the world straight from the supplier". I would have had no problem making an EU order instead, but now that they have my money, it seems like it should not be a big deal to just send my gear from the EU distributor. If nothing else, I expect to have my gear shipped to another address in a different nation.
I will PM Frank now, hopefully he is willing to take care of this. Perhaps they are honest people and I just got unlucky once, but it seems really strange that they waited over 4 full business days before receiving my payment, and then once they get it they immediately tell me that they cannot ship to me.
Any advice you guys have would be great. Thanks so much.
