Welcome to meso bro. Whats your diet like? How many grams of protein are you consuming on a daily basis? So your 5'9". How much do you currently weigh? Also GNC is a joke. Don't waste your money their bro. I have done the same an wished through all the years of buying gncs shit that I would have put it to better use now lol. O well you live an learn:rolleyes::)

Welcome to Meso brother.
You need to eat more food. I'm not telling you to not use AAS I'm just telling you the obvious brother. Normally when people say they eat non stop and way more than enough to gain weight but they are hard gainers and just can't gain they really don't know how much they are eating. On average if you think you are eating plenty then you might be eating 3500 calories a day maximum. You want to prove me wrong then please sit down pull out all of your food for one day and add up the calories. The truth is I was a hard gainer in my day and I ended up eating 6500 calories every single day to gain weight. I ate the exact same thing everyday, which got old but I grew. So I'm not going to sit here and tell you not to do another cycle I'm just trying to help you realize what you need to do to get big. Good luck and once again welcome brother.

Welcome to Meso, and the best thing to do is eat eat eat and then eat some more, especially if you are an ecto with a high metabolism rate. On top of that TRAIN HARD! There's a lot of great people here who'd help answer your training, cycle and diet questions so feel free to post up.

Being skinny is just as bad as being fat IMO

A doctor is going to go by a normal range, that is a little low imo but Ive seen a lot lower. I used to be like you, extremely skinny. Wait till you hitabout 25 and youre going to miss a high metabolism. Get a good weight gainer and eat big And lift big. You will get there eventually.

Welcome to Meso. Make sure to check out the thread "what are you eating? OGH wants to know." There are a lot of great food ideas there. It sounds like you need some extra calories in your diet. I have a hard time gaining weight too but I do the best I can. It comes down to the food. I eat steak everyday, full rack of ribs pretty damn often, pbj sandwiches several times a day, and shakes that probably have more calories in one than your entire daily food intake. It makes a huge difference. Everyone thinks they eat enough but most really don't. Eat. Eat. Eat. Good luck!

That thread's a food bible...great stuff there as well as great posters. Even I sometimes overestimate how much I eat

Those numbers are a little low, but not so bad that I would suggest using AAS at your age. As everyone has stated your diet is probably the most important thing you need to change at this point in your life. But what is your training schedule look like? What types of lifts are you doing? Weight? Reps?

I also was a hard gainer and something that helped me was getting a little stop watch and I would set it to go off every 2 hours. When my stop watch went off I had to eat. Sometimes it was just a PB&J sandwich and some fruit or broccoli. Sometimes it was a whole meal. But I HAD to eat every 2 hours! I did this religiously for 6 months and I gained 8lbs. So believe me, I know where you’re coming from...

i would like to answer all your questions as best as i can.
for my diet, i eat some cereal as soon as i wake up for a morning snack and about 45 minutes later i make a lot of eggs with toast and hash browns with some fruit and orange juice. (i dont put any salt or anything on everything i make, i eat it plain)

and before lunch i eat one PP&J sandwiche and i usually drink a tall glass of milk

and for lunch i make a whole chicken breast with a steak and eat mixed vegetables with some apple juice usually. (or whatever juice i have at the time)

an my snack i like to eat before dinner would be some trail mix because im usually really full after lunch so i keep it small around this time.

for dinner i make some pasta (yes i am Italian) an i put sauce in it but i make my own tomato sauce so i can control the sodium.

thats about all i can eat usually in a day but when i was on gear i could definitely eat ALOT more. also not to be gross but i take a lot of dumps in a day lol.

Wow you sure written a book there brother ^^

You should keep a steady volume and even have some high volume sessions thrown in.

High volume is term a lot of trainers use that basically mean more reps. You can do drop sets and/or just try and do more reps each set with shorter rest period in-between sets.

I have few suggestions for you Young Blood.
1st. You need to eat more! You have a good idea of what is a proper diet, but something you need to remember is you have an extremely high metabolism. So you need to get more carbs into your body. Good carbs if possible but at a certain point it really doesn't matter. If I was you I would also invest in a weight gainer.

2nd. You stated that your meal outline is about all you can eat in a day. You need to force feed yourself. I know it’s hard and sometimes you might feel like you're going to puke. But keep eating. That afternoon snack of just some trail mix, is not enough. Try getting another sandwich down on that meal and push dinner our 30min or so to make it work.

3rd. Your workout routine is pretty solid for a beginner but you've been training for 3 years so your body should be ready for an advancement. You need to do more lifts @ higher volume. Also more compound movements to increase torso girth, like deadlifts, squats, leg-press, bench press, Good mornings, Military press, etc.

Welcome to meso Young Blood i have nothing to add the guys have pretty much covered it!!
So good luck and get to eating[emoji4]

Welcome to MESO! And all due respect, but your doctor is blowing smoke up your ass! Any TT level under 400 is not normal for someone your age! And don't let your doctor talk you into some Test gel or cream either! Doesn't sound like shes going to give you anything anyway... but just sayin! Take the advice that the members above gave to you, and Good Luck in your training, and here at MESO!
