Hi. I just started taking test in sept of this year. The bloodwork bekow is taken monthly to 6 weeks for the 4th round. The time line is as follows:
initial bloodwork was to check my T level suspecting it was low. It was very low obviously with high shbg resulting in really low free t. I also did lipid panels and cbc, tsh, LH/fsh and psa. Lipids, tsh, psa all were good. LH/fsh were not.
2nd august results reflect taking 350iu Hcg eod and 25mg enclo eod. I also came to the conclusion as many suggested I would of why am I spending more $ and injecting not T to generate T when I can just inject test for less $. I am 51 with children and no need for fertility. (51, 5’10” 178lbs, lost a bunch of weight and got back into shape this summer/ year, a lot of cardio and compound lifts and diet / macro focus).
3rd result is after 100mg of test e, ~875iu Hcg per week. Interesting that test went down but shbg down enough that free t went up. I expected shbg to go down a bit but not test down,
4th result is after 6 weeks of ~131.5mg test e per week/ 15 units of 250mg/ml eod with 19 units of 100mg/ml primo eod and the Hcg. T went up as expected, shbg down a bit more than exoected, did not expect e2 to go up with primo addition. Definitely did not expect free t to bounce the way it did. Quite the exponential effect of lower shbg thst is still close to middle of the range. Primo should not be direclly affecting free t. I guess I should be mainly pleased I’m getting so much free t on so little exogenous T. I’m a little mystified. I had planned on exploring the upper range of physiological T but with this free t number I’m pretty much there And beyond.
my questions are: should I just leave the test and primo in place as is? Is having free t relatively high like this a problem in some way? My lipids and cbc look good. My rbc and Hct are actually just below middle of the range. I was hoping for a cardio bump from slightly elevated levels. I feel good. Particularly in the gym. Recovery is amazing and I’m getting leaner and more vascular. Getting a six pack and leg vascularity I’ve never had. Sadly some loose skin and last bits of flab obscuring the 8 pack but still progressing. I know all Aas impact shbg but I didn’t know it could or would have such an exponential impact on free t.
any and all advice and insight welcome.
