Just started DNP...Question?

What up guys. I just started taking DNP today and read over "How not to fuck up DNP" about 3 times. I noticed it said to take in fructose while on DNP to help with your liver. The problem is that I am 7 weeks out from a competition and can't take in any type of sugar, including fruit. Is there anything else I can take for my liver? I am wondering if milk thistle would work? I would appreciate any input you guys have on this. Thanks.

How long is your DNP cycle going to be. If not longer than 14 days I bet you'll be fine with the fruit sugar as the results you'll get from the DNP will far outweigh any negative effects the fruit sugars will have on your diet. Gives you 5 weeks without fruit afterwards which would be plenty of time. There is a reason for the fruit sugar so I would not do it any other way.
Ask Heretic. He may have another opinion on this.

Thanks Bro, as of right now I am planning on doing a ten day cycle and possibly another ten day cycle in two weeks. I am also going to ask Heretic, but do you know the amount of fructose I should be taking in?

Honestly I don't know the exact amount you should be taking in. I just go by how my body feels and keep it with me at all times. If I start getting the shakes I know it's time for some fruit. I eat pineapple, apples, grapes, and bananas. Thats about it except for some mandarin orange slices at times.

Just to throw my two cents in here... I honestly dont think that its absolutley nescisary to take in a specific amount of fructose.... if you are completley depleated and pretty tierd just before your workout, then have half a bannana or a med sized bannana... I personaly just cut a power bar in half and would eat half before the workout and half after... then very little carbs the rest of the day... Dont stress out too much. Another thing, dont be supprised if it takes a bit of time .. like 2-3 days before you start to feel anything... DNP builds up slowly in the system... by the second day of doing 400mg you will feel it though... just cuz you dont feel it does not mean its not working, just another thing to keep in mind. Aight bro... keep up the good work bro, lata!

Don't forget your Benadryl (diphenhydramine) . . .

The frutcose is not to protect your liver, it sounds like you're thinking that's what it's for, hence your question about milk thistle. DNP is not toxic to your liver (a common misconception about it). Your body has a hard time processing carbs while on DNP, this is why your metabolism is so high. Frutcose is the easiest form of sugar for it to process and to refill glycogen levels in the liver, so that's why we say you should be getting your carbs from frutcose and not starches or anything complex. DNP is like chemical CKD really, it's already using up all the carbs in your system so your body can't use them, so cutting carbs further may make you nauseous because your blood sugar will get too low. Just think of it like being on insulin and having to keep an eye out for how you feel.

Just like Heretic said..... I also used DNP prep'n for a contest and can tell you not to worry about the carbs that much. You'll burn them off before being stored. All dieting principles other than cardio and eating sensible do not apply when on DNP. Even on a low dosage of DNP fruit is a welcomed treat....you'll just feel better. I suggest eating fruit before and during your gym time. It will keep you functioning enough to train. Pup

Thanks for clearing that up for me, I did think it was toxic to the liver. I'll be picking up some fruit today for those low blood sugar moments.

Just remember Bro, the need for the fruit will not present itself as low blood sugar (dizzy, weakness, etc) but as a true lathargic state. DNP almost puts you in a near ketogenic state and mimics a atkins diet even though your eating carbs. Eat high fiber fruits and veg periodically through the day with protein. You'll burn fat....just don't look at the scale or mirror till 3-5 days after your dosage. You'll look and fell crappy till the water retention leaves and it will screw with your head if your like me. Pup
