Keeping Test in during precontest.

How many of you don't use Test during precontest? If you do use it, how much do you use during your precontest prep?

I hear keeping Test is good to avoid dropping too much muscle.
 
I compete as a middleweight (only 5 weeks out from the next show), and I run test w/every cycle, currently at 800/wk. The diet alone strips away enough muscle, no matter how many grams of protein I eat or mgs of gear I use. I feel like I need it to keep the weight on. Besides, I like to up my androgens to harden up, so test is vital to my sex life. I do stop my injections several days out to ward off any inflammation, swelling, or water retention.

Damn hardcore210 you aint bullshitting at 800 per week. Right now I'm running Test at 400mgs per week with 400mgs of Eq. To run Test at several out do you switch to a Test Susp and drop regular Test several weeks out or just stick with regular Test several days out?

I guess I'll stick with using Test. Last year I did not use any Test during precontest and did sort of dropped a bit too much weight. Take a look at my picture.
 
Right now, I'm running butyrate, which is pretty close in half-life to prop, so I don't plan on going to another ester. Last contest, I switched from cyp to prop about 6 weeks out with good results. I think it's pretty common to change somewhere in the 3-6wk range, but that's just word around my gym.

Nice pic, man! I'm jealous of your outer quad sweep...that's killer! Your upper body looks hard as nails! Great genetics! Lucky bastard....
