Hi Bros, i spent some time on a boat this weekend, and i since i finished on the boat i have had some pretty severe knee pain on the inside of my right knee. it gets a lot worse when i straighten the leg out. i did not hit it on anything and the pain did not come suddenly, just randomly showed up this weekend and has been there since saturday afternoon. i am thinking maybe it could be an issue with the MCL, but im not sure. does anyone have any experience with this?

You mean ACL ? just rest it Biebs , take it easy , no leg exercises or running . You'll know more in a few days.....~Ogh

Rest, Ice and Elevate. If its not showing signs of improvement in 2 days like OGH said then I would go. Knee issues scare the hell out of me. I like walking too much ha

got some frozen peas for that bitch, iced it for 10 minutes and the pain is gone. should have throught about that before i went jumping to conclusions of torn ligaments

Good to hear! I'd still go easy on it, it was hurting for a reason.

Maybe it was from all the jumping? [emoji39]

yeah i wont be working legs untill it feels 100% better. i think it might have been the angle i was standing while driving the boat. it was an 18 footer and i could have driven it a little bit slower through the chop. my girl almost flew overboard a few times.

Well then I don't blame you, I love boating! Faster the better! Can't wait till this coming weekend, I'm not going to get out of the water!

I haven't been to the lake yet this year : /
Well I recently had surgery to remove a femur nail and several pins that held it in place. In the 10 days after the surgery I could do almost nothing and my leg stiffened, tightened and atrophied. In attempting to regain flexibility and rom I stupidly over stretched and had a sharp searing pain, right on the top of my kneecap under my teardrop. The next day it bruised badly and I realized I was really fucked. Pain walking, couldn't dead squat or nothin. Desperate to recover I ordered some ghrp to speed the healing process. I can't say forsure that it made the difference but it's 5 weeks later and I'm training legs at full strength and have been for a couple weeks. If you think you have a connective tissue injury it can't hurt. And it's cheap. Collagen synthesis is a frustratingly slow process. Good luck
