Knee Support Sleeve style??

I sprained my right knee late last year, and It's finally starting to feel close to 100%. I recently started squatting and deading again but I've been wearing a brace and not trying to go too heavy.

I am looking towards getting a sleeve style knee support instead on the heavier brace I've been using. NOT CONSIDERING WRAPS. I know you powerlifters love wraps.

Anyone share their experience with using this style of knee support, brand used, durability, comfort, support, etc.

Rehbands are legit, I have a pair of Inzer ones that have lasted several years of weekly use and are still holding strong, they have Velcro straps which you can adjust to best suit what level of tightness you want. There are many good brands to choose from today, elitefts has some good knee sleeves as well and they're quite a bit cheaper then the Rehbands.

I bought the SBDs like a month ago and i absolutely recommend them. I have nothing to compare them against but they are nice.

I've wondered about the effectiveness of these knee sleeves as well. Ive never personally used them, but I imagine they would help to increase weight on certain lifts by making you feel more "secure" and stable, besides the obvious benefits of actually providing physical support to the knee joint and connective tissues. I'll look into picking up one of the brands you guys mentioned and see how it goes.

One recommendation based on a solid power lifter and my own personal experience. Make sure they fit super tight. I have a couple of rehbands. One in size L and the other in XL and if I was to purchase a pair. I would most likely go with size M.

I got a rehband size medium

Only used it three times so far but im liking it.

When I get my lifts back up Ill get one for the other knee so i match

I rolled my right knee yesterday when I slipped and fell off my porch as I underestimated how much ice there was on the stoop. Still frigging hurts and very hard to walk, so looking to get a sleeve to keep it stable till it heals. Guess I am looking at 3 months before it is strong enough to squat again :(

Ice in April.. That's not cool bro.

Sorry about the injury. Keep in mind sleeves won't do much for an existing injury, they are just good for keeping the knees warm and providing a little bit of extra support but not much (at least the ones we are talking about in here.)

I actually really do like mine, but I've never had an actual knee injury , just started to notice a little aggravation as I've gotten older.

This is a pretty accurate and helpful review for anyone considering them:
