After reading through one of my favorite threads here, guns. I started thinking that I don't believe we have a knife and blade thread on here. I'm a huge blade and knife buff, maybe even more so than guns. So I took a pic of a few from my collection and maybe others would like to share.

Lmao it's actually made by cold steel as a kubaton. Its huge and solid. Can't buy em like that one anymore cuz sharpie got mad lol. It's called the "Sharkie" and is all black now.

I've never been too big on knives. I have the bare essentials. Kitchen knives, living room knife, bathroom knife, bedroom knife, car knife, truck knife, knife for my left pocket, knife for my right pocket, knife for my back pocket, knife for my ankle. I sleep with a katana also. Something about the thought of sticking that through a home invader seems really cool.

Anyways, back to my story. My dad was stoned one night and ordered 100 knives for $100 off one of those late night ads on TV. Lol. Guess what we got for Christmas and our birthdays the next couple years? Haha

Knives ?? Now we are talking . As a cook I have a older knife collection , mostly older Dexter knives . The first pic is the Ancients.
All Dexters from the turn of the century including a 3lb Dexter cleaver. The 2nd knife is from the 1800"s .

The 2nd pic is my everyday Dexters , the famous white nylon handle Dexter-Russells . In Alaska when I was cutting salmon heads , these were all we used . Infact all salmon processors use Dexter-Russells .

The last pic is my antique scissor collection , alongside a really old Craftsman finish hammer with all leather handle .

I love katanas. I want a real one. Like a genuine Japanese Hattori Hanzo sword from Kill Bill!

That cleaver scares the hell out of people . Its really heavy & really intimidating looking . I love it .
And yes I need to clean/oil the older knives .
