Lab Equipment in Mexico

1st, long time reader but I am trying to make my first homebrew so I thought joining would be helpful.

Equipment, what a headache.

So I tried to order all the lab supplies as far as vials, scale, beakers, syringes and then the solvents etc. Powders coming from a separate website.

Well it got shut down at customs (because of BB BA EO and Guaiacol) and now it is going back.

I asked the extremely unhelpful border agent or who ever has been insta-responding and saying almost nothing in reply to my emails WHICH things could not be imported just to be safe. They said none of it was ok to send. I am certain this cant be right but I will still try to find as much as I can locally (probably no chance) or on a mexican website (slim chance).

The chemicals I am reordering from the powder supplier who's 1st shipment should be here sometime this week.

Any body have any tips, sites (if we can share that) or tricks they used to acquire or get around using certain equipment? I also still need to find a Guaiacol source.

The entire list of equipment I need:
Scale .01g
Bottle Top Filter (0.22 µm PVDF Membrane)
Pump
60ml Luer Lock Syringe
Sterile Vials
Beakers (can make due with cook wear)

The irony of it all. Steroid making selling and using is completely legal in mexico...just have fun trying to actually acquire anything you need to do it.

Mexico. Everything I need to actually make the roids you need permissions (translation: be a doctor) to import and it seems nobody sells domestically and even in that case it seems permissions might be necessary.

Vials and filters are the 2 big ones but it seems even a scale and beakers needs permissions of some sort.

I tried to buy everything at once from beakers, scales, filters, vials and the BA BB EO which totaled 1k+ and so it was auto stopped at customs.

Now customs held it and every body we talked to seems to say that every thing I ordered needs permissions which seems ridiculous.

Of course med lab has disappeared and wont respond to an email or phone call.

My next step is to buy the things kind of 1 by 1 and see what does and doesn't get stopped.

Seriously, steroids completely legal, you just arent allowed access to good ones or to the things needed to make your own. FML

Yes you can buy steroids in Mexico. My guess is that Mexico does not want a UGL in the country, and that is why they held your stuff up. Go ahead and order the 100 ml vials, and I'll bet that they get through.

Are you allowed to say from where? and what shipping should I use? 1 of the sites I was talking to said to not use UPS or Fedex without the licensing.

I found some on e bay and of course several other sites.
