I have posted here before regarding libido problems that have been ongoing of >18 months. Overall libido ranges from very lo to nill. Two doctors have been of no help, with one suggesting TRT. Total testosterone had tested fine, LH/FSH hi, and estrogen elevated.

I recently had a serum test trying to look at the entire gamut. The only thing I could think of I may have missed is progesterone, and I didnt bother with LH/FSH as I assumed those are hi. I was expecting to cement elevated estrogen as the main culprit , but somehow that has taken a significant drop.

These are the latest and previous results.The latest test also had a general liver, kidney and thyroid profile, CBC and mineral/bone - fluid/ electrolyte reading with all normal.

Outside of libido, there are no other health problems to speak of, other than mild insomnia.
in summation, possible problems I can see are;

a] Free testosterone is low even with good total levels. Especially on a total:free basis.LEF free test range[21-26]

b]SHBG is above LEF[<30] range ,but in reference range.

c]LH/FSH is elevated. I dont know if this is causing the other levels to be off, or in response to it.

d]Estrogen has gone from abnormally hi to lo in under 6 weeks. I was not taking any thing different to cause the drop. The only thing I had been doing differently was applying topical chrysin for about a month, which Ive now stopped. I seriously doubt that would have such an extreme effect.

My guess is that it was the bodys attempt at homeostasis,due to hormonal imbalance.In which case it may eventually correct itself, but if so, I have not felt it yet.

I began taking ZMA, due to limited evidence of it raising free T. Other than that I take fish & borage oil [ which attribute the HDL levels to] and vitamins C,E and B-complex.

Any suggestions or input on this situation?
