My thought on that is how much more incriminating can it be to use Paypal vs Money Gram or WU? With both of those you put your name on it and you're probably on camera while doing so. PP sounds sketchy af to use for something like this, I agree, but is it really less safe?

Depends on how u look at it.... imo, no better way than bitcoin, but even that isn't 100% safe... I won't use mg or wu knowing now what I didn't know as a newb... Walmart uses ur phone number and has every single time you send or receive money on file...
Is pay pall safer.... no.. more dangerous? No... at the end of the day, it's all got ur name on it... if that source gets pinched, or his pick up peeps get red flagged or busted, and that source didn't do his job in protecting customer info..... it all becomes evidence... it's all trackable...so I guess at the end of the day, it just depends on the person and your level of trust in your source.... I wouldn't use anything other than bitcoin but that's just me, I don't really trust some ads hole in India to do the right thing and erase my fucking info...

At one time, I had a mid level military clearance. I came to the realization that the feds have everything anyway or can get it if they want. If they want to bust you, they will.
It's the local deputy dog or sheriff with a hard on you need to outsmart. The feds don't care unless you are a mover and shaker.

Most domestic sources accept Bitcoin and there are ways to purchase bitcoin via paypal (see Virwox for example)

Plus they are all oral OP, so you don't even have to pin and right on the advertisement banner below it shows they accept all credit cards as well.
