The half life is 9 to 20 hours. Typically it can be detected for 3 to 8 days. It really depends on how often you take them b/c of the long half life. If you were taking large doses it is possible for it to be detected in your system for 2 to 3 weeks. Just for your knowledge- it really is not a great drug for sleep disturbances becuase it only increases stage 2 slepp and decreases stage 1 and 4.
