The tools offered by the new forum are far superior in determining the credibility of the post e.g. date joined, post count, reputation, etc. You can also view a more detailed user profile which allows you to easily find and read other posts by the same user.

Doesn't your rank or what ever change with how many possts you've made? Junior -20 member- more etc. ? My only issue with that is like BL and Thick will bs back and forth in a day and rack up 25+ posts each.

Regardless of what tools are available there will always be a method of manipulation (i.e. scamming)

Stick around long enough and you will know the vets, but as Thick points out if they want to, folks can just rack up posts for the hell of it.
