Hey what's up guys, I've been a lurker for a few years on and off and finally decided to make an account as I'm starting to take back my health and physique.

Current stats
Age: 33
Weight: 235 lbs
Height: 5' 11"
BF: somewhere around 25-28% if i had to guess

A little back story on me, I've been lifting for about 15 years. Started sometime in high school and have been doing it ever since. I never really lifted with a purpose though, I never cared about being really strong or being really big, i just liked going to gym and working out.

Now in my 30's that mindset has been shifting a little. I've been trying to get back into shape, went from a high of about 290 lbs to 250 lbs thru diet and exercise alone before stalling out for a while. I bounced between 250-255 for about 2 years before i started taking tirzepatide at the beginning of the year. I'm down to 235 now and slowly losing weight while trying to hold onto the muscle i do have.

I'm thinking about starting trt when i get down around 220 lbs which is why I finally decided to make an account. I've been getting my test levels checked for the last few years and started at a low of 280 TT when i was my heaviest but doctor didn't want to do anything about it despite having all the symptoms, and 350 and 380 TT when i was hovering around 250lbs. I go for bloodwork again in a few weeks but i don't expect a dramatic increase. I primarily want to start trt to alleviate all the symptoms of low test that I've had for years but to also help put on some more muscle and increase strength. At some point in the future i can see myself blasting and cruising with test and maybe some others thrown in there.

Anyways, sorry for the long winded post and i look forward to learning more and asking questions

Welcome and good luck on your journey! Its a tough one but make sure to stay consistent and educate yourself as much as possible!

Welcome to Meso.

If you have health insurance, call them to ask about getting an appointment with an endocrinologist in your network.

An endo might be more helpful in this context, and way better than a TRT clinic at this stage in your life.
