Looking for advice.

Hello, all. I am 46 years old, 6’1” and my current weight is 210. My most recent labs have my Total Testosterone at 974 and Free Testosterone is 79.9. Body type is endomorph. I weight train 2X per week and do BJJ 2X a week. I’m wanting to bulk a little but also get some definition. I work night shift and don’t have the energy I did even a few years ago. I have never cycled anything but open to just about everything. Any constructive advice is greatly appreciated.

2. Since you have a high bf, what percent is it? If it's pretty high, you need to focus on definition. But that's just my opinion.
3. What's the range for your TT and FT levels?
4. You need to provide more details, but still keep it short as some members will complain lol
5. What's your diet like? How well is your sleep?

There's a lot of unknown to throw drugs at you and tell you that'll fix the problem.

If energy levels have dropped significantly for no apparent reason, get your thyroid checked. TSH, Free T4 and T3. You can order itself from a number of testing services.

If those are natural test levels, they're great for your age but free T is high, so SHBG may be low, which is also a sign of hypothyroidism, not uncommon in men around 50 (~10%).

Thank you for responding.

I’m just a regular guy from Virginia. Military and LE veteran. I’ve lifted on and off for most of my life but it was just to maintain some semblance of preparedness/fitness. Now I want to focus on my appearance more. I had two surgeries last year and put on some weight. I’ve lost most of it but my physique has changed. Getting older so I want to use it before I lose it.

Body Fat is around 27% according to a regular BMI calculator. I don’t know how accurate those are, but when I look at images I match more of the 20%. I think I have good weight in my legs.

TT range (250-1100), FT range
(35.0-155.0)

For my diet, I try to eat pretty clean and focus on protein intake. I sleep about 6 hours a day but always feel tired.

If you workout twice a week I would do full body workouts at each. You can have an A day and a B day to work the muscles slightly differently at each workout. Are you on trt or are those your natural testosterone levels because if natural that's impressive. My natural level was only 225 at age 35.

Get your body fat down ASAP to the 10-15% range. Use a glp-1 like semaglutide or tirzepatide to help. You can get Lyle McDonald's new book to guide you through how to use glp1s and diet/exercise to avoid losing muscle as you diet down. Might be the night shift screwing with your system. It's been a few decades since psychology class in college, but I remember reading about circadium rhythms and sleep and being up all night is not natural etc. It takes it toll.

If you're going to do a cycle, just do a Test Cypionate cycle. It's the standard suggestion, as your body is used to it. This way you will have a good idea of what is causing you to not feel good if for some reason, your body doesn't agree with it or something.

Please do some research before any attempts: Aromatase Inhibitor, blood pressure machine (check it at least once daily), 500mg per week would be a place to start maybe--it's cookie cutter--but at your age it'd be ok I think instead of beating around the bush with trial of this dose or trial of that dose etc. Get yourself some time in on the treadmill and eat properly, cleanly, low salt. Gear will mess with your cholesterol levels.

Oh and go introduce yourself in the new members area before you get us both in trouble ;)

I worked nights for decades & armodafinil really helped with wakefulness. if you overdo it or abuse it good luck! i kept that to a minimum & didn't have problems getting to sleep.
Nice... How many mgs were you doing?

I'm trying 50mg@day right now... it seems to help a little with acuity BUT not as much a Adderall.
