I have been on Androgel for a year or two. During my most recent test my measures were as follows:
total testosterone - 174 ng/dl
free testosterone - 5.1
DHT- 43
My total T was ~350 ng/dl prior to beginning HRT and ~600 at my last measure several months ago. I have had physical symptoms that lead me to believe my T is truly lower, and it was not a testing anomaly.
Any ideas of what might be the cause, what to test, or what to change? I am planning to try injections, rather than topical. I may not have been taking Bactrim (antibiotic) at my last measure. I also recently started using Retin-A on the much of the application area.
