Hey shot up like 3-4 weeks ago in right glute ,and i dont know if it is scar tissue build up or what , but it is hard ass a mother fucker.Never had this happen , i mean having the lump stay there,,, any feedback would help. How would i know if it is a sist?

When you flex does the lump seem to be on the outer edge of the muscle??? If so, you probably nicked the edge of the muscle upon inject and that caused the tissue to swell, hold that size, and then heal that way. Has happened to me and will probably happen again, wouldnt stress it unless it hurts!!!

i had some knots for months. they always went away over time. inflamed tissue i guess or even maybe encapsulation.

Go see a good massage therapist and have her (sorry, I don't let dudes massage me) do some deep tissue work on it. Yea, she'll probably have to peel you off the ceiling when she's done, but it'll break it up if there's scar tissue, adhesions, or God knows what in there! Good luck.

Might want to start "Z tracking" your glute injections. This method will not give you a build up of oil in the muscle in which case give you lumps/knots. Always massage your injection site no matter if it feels good after injection. Do this in a circular motion with some decent pressure on the site of injection. Also, a brisk walk will help too. When you date a nurse, you learn about this bullshit..comes in handy sometimes.

My understanding is that the lump is the calcification of that area of muscle of the depot. It will go away in time. That area may also tend to be hard from now on. Avoid injecting in that area. You'd be wasting your time anyway, the juice won't flow, also you could break off the needle in attempting to do so. Since I inject in my thighs, I have a few places that are hard from scar tissue, such that, the needle sweaks sliding into those areas. dead give away to pull out.

PEACE
