Maintain muscle but burn fat

Maintain muscle but burn fat

I'm wanting to maintain and steadily build muscle through out my whole body ,but I have a problem with fat around my stomach ,mid section. I can't seem to burn it off. What exercises should I do? I just got an ab lounge and i'll try that . Also what kind of diet would you guys suggest . Thanks

You need to reduce your caloric intake first off. Lower your carb intake as well and increase your protein intake. Do high rep ab excercises 3 times a week. Abs is all about the diet bro. I would even throw in some moderate cardio a min. of 3 times a week too.
The caloric intake you will have to play around with....might want to start off at 2500 calories a day. If you see min. results, taper it down to 2000 a day.
Me personally, it's winter time and hardly anyone is going to see you without a shirt on..I would try to gain some quality mass first and then around March start to shred up just in time for summer. Give yourself an honest 12-16 weeks to shred up for summer. Just my 2 cents

You can literally do millions of ab lounges and still not be able to see your abs if your body fat % is high...diet and cardio will lower your body fat % to where you can see those hard earned abs.

what would be the best cardio machine out there? exercise bike with upper body work out, ellipticale, stair climber ?I don't have much experience with cardio exercises. I use to play sports alot and got my cardio from there ,but these days I need something I can do at home.
Thanks !!

IMO, the best would be something you already pay for with your taxes. The street in front of your house.

Actually, I just moved in with a buddy. The streets of Chicago might be a bit icy and crowded to run on in the mornings, so I'm just going to run the stairs of this 25 story building. See that? I've got a stair climber that I don't even have to pay extra for. Just use what you have available already, man.

Personally, I think cardio equipment sucks ass.

Your right grizzly .the street or stairs are alot better then cardio equipment ,. I think running for 15 minutes is worth an hour and a half on the exercise bike. But with the kids and my work schedule I can't always get out of the house like I want . I got to baby sit while the old ladys at work. So I would like to know what is the most efficent cardio machine out there wihout spending an arm and a leg. I want something that works and I don't want to have to stay on it for 2 freakin hours lol . thanks

How about Hydroxycut? Best cardio I think would be kickboxing or running. Forget the machines if you want to really strip fat.

You will also be amazed at what fish oil will do, at about 10-12 grams a day. I dropped almost 10 lbs in a month and thats the only thing I changed, did nothing else different. I never took it before, till I read an article by an Olympic trainer that swears by it.

You have to eat better. You have do cardio. I do one hour per day and lift while
on treadmill. Drink protien. No sugar. No magic pills. No sodas. Discipline.
