Mandelin/marq/mecke testing and resources

Well I sifted AND suffered researching on meso about the matter of alternative Labmax testing. No disrespect to any meso members, there's just a few people on here that everyone knows who.. Is fuckin it up.

So I started this thread rather than posting it in an alternative LM testing thread since I think it's worthy of its own thread.

Anyways, I was digging and I never went to this site because it was about 'raving 'drugs and the sort but someone on here got me thinking that these raver kids got some great ideas!

I have a few different brands im going to text which I have on hand atm.. I saw on dance safe that I can get the whike kit for like 60$ which seems like a godsend in this market.

Now, onto the real problem you guys are having. Labmax has a huge spectrum of color references..these new reagents seem to not. But I haven't seen anything like this before,

Here at this link above you can find a particular substance that has been tested by their community. It's a great start. I plan on testing their results out soon.

The one in the link is a test e result. I also saw SHIT tons for oxandrolone.. So I guess that's where all our legit var is at.. Lmao at raves.

What do yall think? Start the data comparisons? Seems like a good starting control to me!

Edit... Here's another. Mandelin test with winny and anavar.

And the chart the kid is 'verifying' it off of was found here.

Ok well I'm double posting because I can't edit my original post any more times.. I found this link and this pretty much gives my 'research' stable grounds now.

Im not going to throw up everything back up they wrote at reddit. But this is basically a turning point for LM testing for me. http://www.reddit.com/r/anabolic/comments/238433/presumptive_testing_for_identification_and/

I think it's great that LE uses the labmaxes but I like these growing database of these three chemicals being used. I think I could see them being a lot more accurate for cheaper.

Thanks for linking to my experiment ;)
I was trying to use equalish amounts of var and winny, but I messed up on my number of divisions. I also thought the cap of winny was 30mg and it was really 50mg. So i used about 12.5mg of win and 6.5mg var.

Haha it was yours! Nice work buddy. I saw that discrepancy on your testing.

Anyway I can get you to do a similar test again? I got some anavar right now which I'll test when I can order some reagent kits.

@Drayen

Great stuff.

Thanks, I have some test e as well that I plan to compare against your results. Do you have any ms tests for them to make sure they are real or did you do them purely for future results for comparison?

Unfortunately nothing conclusive like that. Someone else did labmax steroidninja's test E and according to labmax it is.
I more did my tests as a data point. Hopefully more people can do marquis/mandelin/mecke tests on their Test and Tren and we can kinda start making our own charts and conclusions.
So far I haven't gotten many redditors on board :(

Well, I'm sure once we make it more mainstreamed and people have the proper reasoning to do outside the box type testing we then will probably get a better response.

I probably won't judge anything conclusively unless I matched it with another form of test. However I think if I compile all the results here from other voards we could prove this as a useful resource guide to refer to.

Ok so I found more data that could be useful. I went into patent searches and grabbed some patent numbers and led me to some ingredients and hopefully an eye opener.

This patent shows a company that wanted to invent a product that was easier to the public than the standardized test to date for steroids.. One being the mass spectrum test.

This is a pantent showing hydrogen peroxide mixing with chemicals to produce illumination.

Finally something that ended my search for the night. http://www.jbc.org/content/141/2/487.full.pdf

This here was found way back in the day. They used thiocol to produce q green fluorescent only with the prescence of iron / copper salts and testosterone (they stated raw materials produced a blue glow.. So the salts must have something to do with final product ingredients).

I read that labmax is 90% sulfuric acid. Maybe it could be a mix of SA/thiocol/marquis(or one of the 3m's?)

If I could give you a thousand likes I would.

Wonder why the NIK test people haven't marketed themselves as a roid testing source since they use the same reagents. I know Marquis turns green in the presence of heroin.

Well I'm not sure the relevance on why heroin turns green or not as to why nik should be seen as a steroid testing source. Anyways, I also looked into nik. But I couldn't find too much out about then, as they are a pretty small and newish company..

However, I'm interested in seeing more about this product. Apparently the market is gearing towards more steroid testing companies to face the demand of the increasingly popular competitive fitness market/trt health benefiting practitioners.

Here is something I found interesting..
http://www.bioline.org.br/pdf?pr10037
Here they only used 5% SA?! And ether to get results. They mobilized samples with chloroform and then used a 366nm uv light to see fluorescent glow.

What I mean by that is NIK uses the same reagents you listed for various narcotics. They could easily add a steroids color guide.

I see NIK used all the time by that Australian Customs show.

@tanuki

Figured that's what you were talking about, haha. Apparently the discrepancy between Testing different labs proves these companies a huge problem. I mean, some of these reports read certain infredients need to be present or it won't work.

I'm no chemist but I do understand when you combine chemicals and put them under a stressor, I.e. Heat you get something new. However all ugls have a slightly different recipe. Some add guiacol and some EO...
All these variables are playing a huge feat on comparing data. I'm guessing this is what LM had to do as well.
I do have a feeling though that the combination I posted earlier is a close attempt at labmax.

Correct me if im wrong but thiocol is ...Benzenesulfonic, acid,hydroxymethoxy-potassium salt (1:1)??
Thanks

Yea, I don't think MMC (LabMax's supplier) has done anything new or special. They just too various testing reagents and mixed them with human grade steroids and seeing how they react. Keep in mind that steroids aren't restricted in certain parts of the EU and the other parts of Europe. Mandelin reagent will turn orange in the presence of table salt.

You're guess on thiocol is probably better than mines. I didn't go beyond Chem 1A/1B and a year of o-chem.

I don't know much chemistry as well but I do know how to learn which most humans seem to turn off once they feel 'adequate' in any sort of skill.

I'm sure the testing of various steroids, collecting data/studies, and t/e was taken place. I just wish that data was electronic so I could find it.. I'm going to keep digging. I'm I won't find the answer with a simple "bro search" and it's going to need to include the actual chemical id numbers to follow find.

As for now I plan to just buy a bunch of lab maxes and test the gear i have side by side. I don't have any of those crazy scales to measure out parts so finding the exact recipe by experimentation will probably be far from possible.. However I do think two of the reagents used in combination would prove as a worthy beginning to starting a standard for the m/m/m + t test.

Any help on finding out about thiocol would be helpful. It seems to give the glow, and that seems to be near a final answer.

So if anyone actually cares.. I found an answer to testing outside of labmax with a PR study to verify the results and procedures. I'm still interested in how labmax gets a glow. This however confirms the ability to do a colorimetric test with mandelin and SA.

I'm not familiar with IR Vs MS testing but their seemed to be an issue verifying some of their products used. However they claimed all products were pharmaceutical grade and verified under scope.

3rd post in a row. But In this post I have concluded for now on the ingredients insude these expensive labmaxs.. Through countless hours of digging through chemistry books and studies dating back to the start of the century.. Including the ones I posted and tons more that I didn't reference for the sake that the rare occurrence soneone might want to read this. I wouldn't want them to get bored by repetition of words and science jargon.

I found that sulpheric acid produced a fluorescent glow by the absorption of uv light in the presence of anavolic steroids. In the first study referenced, the lab uses a 5% SA mixed into an ethanol solution. Hopefully I'm right in this next part..

I did some digging and fluorescence of a chemical or compound is of a result of skewing the polarity. In this instance they are usubg acids to separate the steroid wgich causes a reaction..

This reaction is that the steroid solution changes molecular polarity( the charges are weaker) which gives the uv absorbing steroid a fluorescent glow due to the absorption of light and radiating a weaker light?

Whatever. Lol, what matter is a weak sulphuric acid mixed into a suspension of either ethanol or methanol breaks the steroid down and for a short time (labmaxs last two mins?) which cause it to glow from uv 365 nm absorption.

The mandelin causes the hormone to react and change a certain color OVER TIME if present. The color present and future will dictate the idenification of what hormone it is.

The main players who made this possible are.. Görög and szasz.. Without these two, the world of anavokix steroid testing would be in the prehistoric times..

Happy Friday!!
