What's wrong with that guy? His parents must have lived near Chernobyl at one time or another. He is an absolute freak of nature. He completely dominates the strongman competitions, yet he looks just as good as any bodybuilder.

I think he should be the guy that everyone in this game looks up to. He's fucking AMAZING!

I totally agree with you Grizz. I have watched many of the WSM competitions on ESPN, and it is always the bodybuilder type that wins the WSM. It is never the big fat guy. Mariusz Pudzianowski I believe is one of the best ever.

Bill Kazmeier never really had a bodybuilderesque physique either. He looked pretty damn good, but certainly not like a BB.

My fav WSM is Magnus ver Magnusson as he totally dominated the competitions. Mariusz hasa similar build as Magnus, but even leaner. Instead of the crap that is on ESPN2 all the time, I think it should the the WSM Network.

The point that I am tring to make Grizz is that it is not the guy with the big fat stomach or arms that wins the WSM. I watched some of the WSM yesterday on ESPN. There was this guy fron Ireland that had a huge stomach and arms, He weight 440 pounds. The only thing he could do is squat. Kazmeier, Karlson, and Samuelson are not the big fat type in my book.

Don't forget about Joko Ahola. Now that brother was impressive. But when it comes down to it I think Magnus ver Magnusson is the greatest. I would have loved to see these two guys go head to head with one another.

magnus ver magnussen rules....i remember seeing him squat(when they used all those kids for weight)....nose bleeding half way through the squat.........


magnus samuelson had no LEGS the first two years he competed......granted he snapped that guys arm in the arm wrestling comp.........but there were a couple of comps he bowed out of for lack of leg strength......

Forgive me, I'm absolutely HAMMERED, but I can undertand a guy with a weakness in strongman comps. That is one of the most difficult sports I have ever seen. Cardio, max power, muscle endurance, etc. are all a factor in the game. It's amazing to me what those guys do. They are just absolutely amazing atheltes, in my mind.

I can do one or two of those events(those dealing with pulling/back strength) but to do it all is just crazy. Them fellows are very well rounded.

I'm just going to ramble on in my drunken stupor, but, the point is, I very much admire and respect what those fellows are able to do. It takes a certain kind of individual and those individuals are few and far between.

if you come into a competition with a weakness....you dont belong there........that said, i really respect the MFers that do this shit ........me and my buds tried the keg toss...i might as well change my name to "little girl"...lol

Pud is a stud. I really enjoy watching him. He is ripped and doesnt really have any weaknesses. Most of the others are weak(relatively speaking) in a couple of events, average in a couple, and than good at one or two.

I agree with you thick! I think Pud will go on to be one of the greatest WSM champions ever. If not the best ever.

One of the best ever, quite possibly. Best ever? He has a looong way to go to catch Magnus v M. Other than Ferrigno in the late 70s, Pudz is the best conditioned/leanest competitor Ive seen.

i was wondering when someone was going to mention ferrigno. pud is an animal though. def the most well rounded i've seen in WSM since magnuss & ferrigno.
