Marvel movies, whats your opinion of them?

Personally I think they're hit or miss. I have seen a few that were good but many left.me disappointed. I thought Deadpool and ironman were kick-ass, can't wait for Deadpool part 2 to come out. Went and saw Logan tonight, pretty let down from that one actually. Previews looked amazing, felt the movie was very slow and cliche. Honestly I could have left halfway through it.

Guardians of the galaxy 2 looks pretty good, enjoyed the first one. (Although not sure of that was Marvel or not). I just think they're running away with these movies now, reaching for anything they can really. Which ones have you liked? I haven't seen them all so I'd like to know

Yeah guardians of the galaxie is marvel. Yeah I'm with you on this one it's been a miss lately with some of these movies. Deadpool was a good one, I also liked the first few X-Men movies then the last 2 have been kind of lame. Ant man was pretty cool too, can't wait for Deadpool 2.

You mean marvel movies course but trying to say DC comics sometimes not tell same story that movies, you know, movies change the original history usually.Thats my point.
Yea, I get what you're saying now. I think many are probably getting g far beyond the original stories now. That's what I meant by going after anything they can. I wasn't a huge comic junkie so a lot of them I'm probably not the best source on, but I know damn good and well kids aren't into comics anymore

Marvel just does the easy thing. Comedy. Iron-man 1 was good even though I hate iron man as a superhero, 2 was God awful, 3 was good. The first x men was good second was okay and the third was awful. Deadpool was good, the amazing spider man sucked ass.

Marvel is definitely on the low side for me.

DC is far better imo. More serious and dark. Especially batman vs superman. Was so dark. Man of steel was fuckin awsome to.

I wish someone would do a good Xmen reboot. All this past and future movies are fucking stupid. Shit I think it would be awsome to do a TV show.

I enjoyed the second Punisher from 2004, but not so much the other two. I could be mistaken but I think it was the only Marvel movie that didn't involve superheroes or any kind of science fiction.
Has anyone checked out The Punisher TV series with Jon Bernthal?

I remember back in the 90's or early new millenium when it was huge news marvel was gonna bring their characters too life for the first time on the big screen. X-Men was the first and at the time it was huge cuz i was a closet Xmen card and comic collector. I loved comics and still have them. Im gonna look in to selling if i can pull the coin out of them their supposedly worth. Not in to it anymore. A kids thing. But these marvel and DC movies are most stupid IMO.

i will say i watched batman v superman and thought it was bitchin. So did my kids. Punisher was ridiculous too

Anyone know a good place to start to get appraisals done on comics and or cards?
Worth big money now days. Supposedly

The Marvel universe is so massive that the live action movies we get, although they are pretty good, are very watered down in comparison to the actual story archs they follow.

There are 2 things I'm hoping for. I love Spider-Man. Only thing is, I'm tired of seeing the young high school Peter. Also tired of watching Uncle Ben die.

With Deadpool being so successful I hope they branch out into other anti heroes. Lobo would be fun to watch.....

I saw Logan earlier and thought it was great. Best of the wolverine movies by far, top three in the xmen franchise.

It was worth the wait to see a tired, angry, hard drinking and hyper violent wolverine. Not held in check by a pg-13 rating. A fitting send off.

That's good man, I know most ppl liked it. Just my opinion

I thought Logan was fantastic but the two before that were very lacking. I thought Deadpool and guardians were great movies. Really, I just don't like Captain America.

I think DC has been doing fantastic despite what the critics say. Dawn of Justice was great IMO and I thought minus the Enchantress, suicide squad was another great film.

The dark vibe DC brings really keeps my interest and I think the MCU has some very obvious plot holes that make it hard for me to take serious. But all in all, I think the movies serve their purpose and are enjoyable.

Marvel has the shit down pat. Honestly, they're the only movies worth watching anymore imo. DC has only just begun their move to the big screen after seeing the success marvel has had. Captain America, Guardians, Spider Man, Thor, Hulk and Iron Man were all pretty great movies and the way they tie them all together with the Avengers has been nothing short of brilliant. They couldnt have casted those parts any better. Tony Stark is basically Robert Downey Jr playing himself. A natural fit. I cant think of better actors tailor fitted so perfectly together. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, all are fantastic.
