Mast or Proviron with Deca??

I'm going to be starting a new test/deca cycle. Should I use Masteron or Mesterolone (Proviron) to prevent libido issues/deca dick? I'd rather get the Mast (E) because it has some anabolic properties and is less expensive. Do they work equally well??

I have never heard of proviron+19nor to prevent sides

Mast E was utilized to prevent estrogen uptake and was found to have possible inhibition of prolactin secretion(19nor)

That's a separate matter. I'm talking about using a DHT analog here to counter the effects of the dihydronandrolone (DHN) produced by Deca.

Not it isn't. Test provides adequate DHT to support sexual functionality. The thing with nandrolone is that it potentiates the e2 effects on the body, so if one can't keep e2 controled, he will get all the negative side effects even worse

Hmmm. Is the whole nandrolone / DHN thing just bullshit? I mean seriously, I'm asking. Is that the consensus here?

Nandrolone potentiates the effects of E2? Do you mean it adds additional E2 via aromatization?

Is the dreaded phenomenon of, pardon my crudeness, "Deca Dick" due solely to inadequate control of estrogen levels? And the often touted remedy of using Proviron is not relevant?

Dihydronandrolone is 20% as strong as Dihydrotestosterone at supporting sexual function. Since you have a test base there is no need to worry about the DHT side of things for sexual function

No, it doesn't add e2, it potentiates the existing e2 in circulation, exacerbating their negative effects on sexual function.

If you have sky high e2 and add a DHT like proviron it should help to a point. But you will not remedy the underlying problem, just cover it up partialy

Can you explain further on how Deca might potentiate estrogen? Or links to this info? I've not heard of this idea.

I don't know enough about DHN to respond. I've read it binds weakly to the androgen receptors. And that's apparently why it is weaker than DHT. As to why Test would not provide enough DHT and therefore require a separate DHT analog like Proviron, I am at a loss to explain.

It's just that there are a lot of postings on Deck Dick and using Proviron to prevent/reverse it. It can't all be estro out of whack. Although if Deca did significantly potentiate E2 then ...

Dhn, dht, e2 guidelines are great but it's all individualized on how responds to it.

I do feel like 60 of e2 feels a lot stronger on 19nors than simply off of it. Maybe it does affect the receptors? It most certainly has cross reactivity with the e2 tests(not ulttasensitive)

Have you ran deca before?

nandrolone impairs sexual function in several ways, as described here Anabolic-androgenic steroid effects on libido (Part 1: Men) - MESO-Rx

It is also mentioned there that proviron can partially prevent this, theoretically in my opinion DHB does it too

Personally I dont use nandrolone due to these features

Hi guys!! Using proviron with deca is a good strategy to limit the possible side effects of the latter, especially gynecomastia that when presented with nor19 is usually quite rebellious. Despite everything, using a little arimidex and/or nolvadex at a low dose would be ideal to carry this part even safer. For example 200mg/s of deca is not a high dose but in sensitive individuals it can be enough to cause an unwanted increase in prolactin levels. Keep an eye on this point as well. Bye

400 test w/ 300 deca i had bad deca dick.. bad.

400 test w/ 300 deca w/ 50mg daily proviron solved my issues immensely, hard as a rock wanting it 5x per day. Overall mood improved, no deca sads.

Same amount of ai used both cycles 0.25mg adex 2x per week.

It may not be the answer looking for, but everyone responds differently. I’ve always done low test with higher Decca and never had an issue with libido or “Deca dick.” In fact, my first cycle was deca only and I experienced no issues.
