Been lurking here for a couple of years as I enjoy reading about AAS and other's experiences. I decided I should start participating as there is a great group of longtime regulars here and I have a decent amount of knowledge to share as well.
I started training again around 2.5 years ago at age 50 after 12 years out of the gym. Previously I lifted from high school/college into my late 20s and then a few years in my 30s after a few years off. Was already on trt a few years before I started back lifting. That combined with muscle memory and training knowledge, has given me growth I never thought could be possible at my age.
Logically I had to kick it up to bro trt once the results started coming in. For the past three months I've been eating around maintenance or slight surplus and making steady gains on 280 test, 210 eq, 4iu gh.
My goal is max hypertrophy but I feel stuck in no man's land at the moment. I've been sitting at 13% bf for a long time and feel like it's too fat to start a real blast, but I'm also reluctant to take 6-8 weeks of halted progress in order to cut. This is stupid and I know I'm wasting time by not doing a rapid cut to 10% and then hitting a long massing phase. Depending on blood work next week I will possibly drop the eq for the cut and make it a bit of a health phase.
