Oh yah, cool.
I cant wait to read some of his posts.

He looks very good for any age. 44 wow, thats impressive.

Hi Doctor Mike MD Administrator, Im Phil age 23 just here to report a success story in the making. Was on legally prescribed testosterone for hypogonadism caused by antidepressants. In the circumstances in which was not tapered off correctly. Im not taking it anymore. Wanting to achieve the even greater healthiness without it. It helped to minimize the problems caused by numerous psych meds(off those now) and thanks to the doctors that help with that.

Here is the question: I take Klonopin which over a can have an effect on the hpta axis. Im tapering off that medication right now and a physician of your calibre seems to know whats going on with the HPTA and how anesthesia, benzodiapines and other such substances interact better than many in practice. Sometimes even understanding the benefits of these medications they feel like they can make a person less energetic. Anyways with a will to not spend all the time talking chemistry and not actually applying the knowledge, this is where your opinion comes in. All the doctors say to keep doing what your doing. But hey this is something to do right?:)

What tips do you have for someone my age, taking the medications, to maximize energy legally so that I could participate in things whether it be sports, arts, military, medical alot of fields which require certain blood levels. There are alot of exceptions if a doctor prescribes medication and just looking for alot of opinions before setting forward on great path. I still have alot to learn. Thank you Dr. Mike

Dr Scally sure looked great back in 1994. Doc, now that you're in your mid 60's hows your health holding up? With your vast knowledge of the endocrine system, did you choose to stick it out with naturally declining test levels or have you gone the path of TRT.
Your contributions here on Meso are greatly appreciated.
