Mini Cut at Back End of Cycle?

Im looking for opinions on whether this would be a good option to do on the back end of my next bulk? Or if anyone's tried it and had success?

Basically the mini cut that Mike Isratel from RP recommends for anyone natural or enhanced is losing up to 1.25% of your body weight a week for 2-6 weeks. The idea is to do it at the end of a bulking phase to cut down some fat and be able to continue bulking after the mini cut ends.

The scenario I'm looking at is running 600 test 400 Deca for 20 weeks. I was thinking after 20 weeks I could drop the Deca, keep the test at 600 and do a 1000-1250 cal deficit for 4 weeks. So lose like 8-10lbs of fat. Then go back to TRT & transition back to a small surplus and maintain my weight for 4-6 weeks like normal after a cycle.

My last cycle I put on like 35lbs kept 30 and only added 10 lbs of fat, so I would be able to scrub most of the fat gain with this mini cut idea.

Would such a dramatic deficit risk the new muscle I had just put on during my cycle, even though I'm still on 600 test? Ideally I would be 220-225 at the end of the bulk before mini cutting

I literally watched that video a few hours ago lol. I thought it was an interesting concept. I’m curious what some others think about this or have done it.
 
Nope, you won’t risk the muscle gain judging by the fact you can hold mass on trt. You could even go a little more aggressive than 1000 cal deficit. You’ll be in the full swing of the cycle and should be able to slightly recomp. Many guys do this as a pre prep phase before going into a holding phase prior to prep with great success.

I did one last year before my cycle and it worked great. I had been on maintenance for 1.5 months before the minicut. Lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks after accounting for water. Got down to 8.5 bf % on a dexa & put me in a really good place to grow.

So now I'm thinking of doing it on the back end of a cycle but i just don't want to lose muscle.

Cool that's good to know. I mean the idea sounded good in my head and seemed to make sense. But I don't see a lot of people talking about it here or anywhere else in their cycle plans so I thought I might have been missing something. One of those its too good to be true things. I should pretty much be able to knock out almost all of my fat gain on cycle with this plan.
 
Look at some of bill campbell's studies on rapid fat loss, lyle mcdonalds content on rapid fat loss, martin macdonals also has some content on it.

On the enhanced side, i know joe of physique collective has some content on it as well.

In regards to enhancing the process, some supplements like clenbuterol/albuterol. yohimbine, nicotine, caffeine, carnitine, cardarine, ephedrine, dnp, modafinil and HGH can be useful tools.

for anticatabolism i would leverage AAS and probably GH, specificially compounds like trenbolone and anavar that would help more directly against catabolism.

Thanks I'll research those sources.
I don't know that Id want to add in tren or an oral, but I guess Anavar could be an option. Mast P could be another option like 300 Mast w/ the 600 test. I was hoping the 600 test would let me do a 1000-1250 cal deficit (2-2.5lb/Wk) without risking the newly gained muscle.
