“Moneyball” Movie is Not About Steroids in Baseball to Dismay of Some Sportswriters

“Moneyball” is major motion picture starring Brad Pitt that is based on Michael Lewis’ book of the same name. The movie, much like the book, is NOT about the use of steroids in baseball. This has upset some sportswriters, notably Lance Williams. Williams wants to remind us that at least nine players on the A’s roster between 2000 and 2004 were linked to steroids: Jason Giambi, Jeremy Giambi, Randy Velarde, FP Santangelo, Adam Piatt, Miguel Tejada., David Justice, Cody McKay and Jose Guillen.
