Moodiness on Test E?

So I'm 11 weeks into my first cycle, test e 500mg/wk, and my mood has been stable and unchanged from my natural state. That is, until today. My boss called me by someone else's name and for some reason I just snapped. I didn't lash out or anything, but I could feel my blood boiling - I was absolutely livid.

I started taking nolva a couple weeks ago, 20mg/day, maybe that's what is causing this? I feel like if it was the test I would have experienced these symptoms earlier. Your thoughts?

Stay away from Tren lol
I can't take tren anyway unless I wanna go bald lol. It's weird though, I felt normal all this time until today. Maybe it was an issue of jealousy or something (my boss is female), but it definitely messed with my head. I still behaved the same though, I had to assure myself it was just the hormones.

Could it be you're E2? I have 0 experience to go by but thru all the reading and research I do I've seen mention of elevated E2 effecting mood.

I was kinda thinking that too. I got my e2 checked mid cycle. Came back at 29.5. Felt fine at the time. I haven't changed my adex dose or my test dose at all during my cycle. But in the last couple weeks I have had an acne breakout on my back and shoulders and now this moodiness.

Nolva can stop your estrogen dead in its path, crash it completely. Check out enhanced athlete on YouTube. His buddy, that posh little rich ass cunt you just want to beat up, can't use nolva, it just makes him too sad and in touch with his manfeelings. That's what a power AI does to you. Go adex and tune, tune, tune. For me .25 daily worked best on 500 test last time.

This is not true in many ways.... Nolva does not have the ability to crash your E2, it's solely an inhibitor for the receptors mostly in breast and prostate tissue. It has zero effect on the E2 levels in your blood. Nolvadex is not an AI... The effects youre describing would be more in line with letrozole.

That's what I thought - nolva is a SERM, so it will not lower the amount of estro in the body. I'm standing by my decision to drop it until pct, because the change in mood came about a week after starting it. Until then it'll be 0.5mg adex eod.

You are right WP, I mixed them up, thanks for pointing it out

I hate the idea of tweaking your AI around until you have bloods.... I think you just hit peak saturation of your blood levels + a possible unrelated change in mood. I'm not sure that your "snap" was due to hormone levels, or not. However, you'll feel a fuck-ton worse if you crash your E2... Nolva ON cycle, in general, is unnecessary unless you're having E2 related sides. However, it's better to treat the E2 catalyst than to cover it up by taking nolva. I agree you should drop the unnecessary nolva, not sure you should increase your AI.

@DonQKong no worries, just want to make sure we help this guy out here.

Actually this is incorrect. It may not technically "crash" your E2, but it can lower it. Someone on another forum referred me to a study that shows that nolva actually metabolizes into some anti-estrogen metabolites. The strongest being norendoxifen. There are actually 10 different metabolites that are anti-estrogenic and are being studied for use as new anti-estrogen drugs. Here is a link to a study on it.

Show me where to get norendoxifen, as that's what this article is about!

My e2 came back at 29.5 at 5 weeks in. You really think I'd be at risk of crashing it by upping the frequency to eod? I don't like the idea of tweaking the dose either, especially this late in the game.
