so i know waking up and doin cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is best to burn fat..so after cardio can you just chug a meal replacement shake and hit the weights or is it best to do weights later in the day...also when on the gear/sauce is this the best program or can you do 30-45 cardio after workin out...trying to put on and maintain lean musce mass right now i am 6'3 230 and would like to be around 240-250 and bring down bodyfat how much cardio is needed

You will burn more total fat with a small amount of carbohydrate during your morning cardio. Fat cannot be burned effectively if carbohydrate is not present and vice versa. Your total caloric intake will increase but your total fat burned will aslo increase from your cardio.

Try a piece of whole grain toast with some cinnamon or a bowl of "Natures Path" Pumpkin Flax seed with some low fat milk (soy) and you will have more energy to burn more total fat during your morning workouts. Trust me!

It likely only makes a difference for really lean people (<10%).
