Multivitamin? Is there good, better,best?

Multivitamins are generally a scam — underdosed on the things that matter most, and can have unnecessarily high (harmful) doses of other vitamins. I try to look at my diet and figure out the things I am for sure lacking in, and supplement those things individually. I don’t like the “one size fits all” approach to medicine that is prevalent in this world, as our deficiencies/needs can vary so greatly. These things should be looked at on an individual basis imho.
Yep. This is my approach also. I find multivitamins to be a waste of money. Between my diet and my lab work I ensure I am only supplementing what is needed. I also build my PWO and intra workout mixes.
 
Multivitamins are for people on the standard American diet, any extreme restriction diets (keto vegan TheSugarDiet carnivore etc), or GLP1s (due to reduced intake of all nutrients)

A typical bodybuilding diet of mixed animal-based and plant-based foods covers a lot of your bases assuming at least a little variety

I agree with everything, I stopped taking multivitamins when, after 20 years of bodybuilding, I started to become more experienced and understand what my body really needs.

An omnivorous bodybuilder's diet rarely has any deficiencies, but there are some exceptions of course, so I currently take single supplements to fill the gaps:

Omega 3 - only during the cutting phase, when I completely eliminate fatty fish (with 3 portions of 200 grams of salmon fillet per week during the bulking phase, omega 3 supplements are not necessary)

Vit d3 (4000 ui day)

Vit k2 (200 mcg day)

Vit C liposomial 500 mg day in summer , 1000 mg day in winter

Nac 1200 mg day on cycle, 600 mg day during trt

Ubichinolo 200 mg day

Niacina (nicotinic acid) 500 mg day (only in some phases to increase HDL)

Garlic extract

Magnesium bigslicinate (300 mg) zinco bigslicinate (12,5 mg) and 225 mg of L-theanine before sleeping

Vit B complex and potassium citrate just in summer to cover the loss due to sweating

Nattokinase only during cycle

Calcium 400 or 800 mg/day depending on daily dairy consumption
